Would you take a QB this early if he is still around with the 4th pick? Last 2 years, Rodgers went 8th and 7th in my league. both teams that picked up Rodgers didnt fair well in standings. Even though its not Rodgers fault.
I really think taking a RB for the long haul in the first 2 rounds and maybe grab Romo or Schaub in the 3 round?
Last yr I came in third place, picking up Cam in the 10th round. Iam hoping to get Flynn SEA and Fleener from Colts
as my sleeper picks late rounds this yr...!
What do you think?

rodgers wont be there at 4. so looks like mccoy is your choice. Unless you get 4pts per passing td then a QB is not worth the pick. But Rodgers is the best overall fantasy player, without being biased and it will be crazy if he is there at 4.

If he's there, grab him. I see him going 1 and 2 in ESPN mocks regurlaly. Even at 4 points a passsing TD, he's THE safe choice without even mentioning his rushing contribution.

4 points a passing TD is yahoo's default setting but our leagues on yahoo our commiss changes it to 6
why would it be crazy if he's there at 4 ? some guys manage differently then others and rather build around Megatron or a RB then go Brady with 2nd if he's there or go with someone like vick or E.Manning a bit later in the draft.. to each his own.. there's no right or wrong pick at 4 if u go McCoy, Rice, Rodgers or Johnson. its the later rds that usually win u games.. and u need everyone to produce together, u can have 3 studs and still lose weeks if u have a weak TE and #2 and #3 WR's.

most lilkely, Foster,RICE will be top 2, I will get neither McCoy or Rodgers with the 4th pick. I dont trust MJD because of his workload and contract issue. Mathews is injury prone and is over rated and bad coaching with Norv....!

I took McCoy + Rice last year and won I think I would choose McCoy over Rodgers at 4th to be honest but like phillyfan said... to each his own. Everybody can pick a ''good'' first rounder.. its what you do with your late rounds that might get you that extra point you need in a tight week.

I would take Rodgers, Brady, and possibly Brees(this is a big maybe though) over the big 4 RB's. Just my opinion but this takes out a huge injury risk potential and any chance of some coach trying to implement another RB to take off some of the work load (Ben Tate?).
I know QB's are pretty deep but there are also some decent RB's that you can find even further down in the draft as well. There are a bunch of potential TD vulchers or guys that will matter for the first few weeks due to the rash of ACL injuries from last season (Mendenhall, Peterson, and Charles).
RB's have quite a bit of turnover as the season goes on and there will be a few guys that will have a significant impact that will be drafted in rounds 6-9.

I'm passing on QB early myself.........I think there are some stellar QB's that will be there late that will put up solid stats not far behind the elite. I'm not high on McCoy at #4......If you go RB I'd go with Ryan Mathews! This kid was the real deal when he was in there healthy! The position is his now alone! Personally, if I get picks 4-6 I'm going with Calvin Johnson and building my team around him.
