Obviously Vick is a big risk but was happy to back it up w/ RG3 in round 9.
Lesean McCoy fell to me at #6, which I never anticipated happening.
Thanks for the comments guys. Top 5 were the big two RBs, Rodgers, Brady, and Megatron. I had a list of four "must takes" if they fell to me (Foster, Rice, McCoy and Rodgers) but never thought there was any real chance of that. I was thrilled. The rest of the first round: Brees, MJD, CJ2K, McFadden, Forte, Mathews. Both Marshawn Lynch and Roddy White went before Welker, which made little sense to me.
Vick was the 9th QB taken, I got him at #54 overall. His upside was too much to give away, in my opinion. Taken before him: Rodgers, Brady, Brees (1st rd.), Stafford and Eli (2nd), Newton (3rd), Ryan (4th), Romo (one pick before Vick).
I'll admit I am overly ga-ga for Vick but just think he has upside matched only by the top 3 (who were all first rounders) and Newton (who may bust). To me a guy like Matt Ryan is just so unsexy as a 4th rounder... If I hadn't gone Vick there I'd have been looking at taking a 3rd RB or WR, probably Maclin or Green-Ellis. Juice just didn't seem worth the squeeze with those guys.
