Ok...All I've heard on the Fantasy sports shows is how awsome this guys gonna be. Not saying they're wrong, but you know how it goes when a guy is hyped up so much....usually doesn't pan out as expected. Personally I'm high on him as well and am taking him 3rd pick so far.........

Would like opinions on him and how you feel he should go in the drafts.........

I take anything I hear in the preseason from shows or magazines with a grain of salt. Consider Roddy White's presence and Ryan's ability - I don't know if Jones is a 1st rounder but BOL

u mean your 3rd Rd Pick as in Rd 3 Right ??

if your taking with your 3rd Pick (Rd 3) then thats fine but no way in hell should he be 3rd Overall

Thanks guys...I meant 3rd "round".......my 3rd selection for my team. Seems he's been going right around there when I've passed on him to get him later. He's always gone by then.

Yeah...we'll see how things go. I'm sure he'll put up some good numbers, but I feel he's being too over-hyped.

Having the pleasure of watching him at bama for his college career, and being a falcons fan, the sky is the limit for him. Hes the most physical wr I ve ever layed my eyes on. On a fantasy football note, he does alot of things that arent going to help you. Hell of a run blocker and stuff like that... Guy is a beast

But stuff like that keeps you on the field and in the good graces of the coach and QB. If you do the little things right, you'll be rewarded with more plays designed to let you shine. I like him,too. Late 2nd or anytime 3rd round pick if available.

I'm one of the few who think that WRs are thin this year. Don't pass on this guy.

Getty- I agree completely.

I hope I can pick him up in my draft in the 4th or 5th round. It would be a steal..

WR's thin??? Yes you are one of the few.....WR is very deep this season and it's no lie. I want to be high on Julio Jones, but I've heard just way too much hype about him from EVERY fantasy expert. Still think Roddy White is the MAN in Atlanta and it will show again this season! He got off to a slow start last year, but with full OTA's and preseason watch out for him early and often and throughout the season barring injury of course..........I don't think I'm going to be targeting Jones in my drafts unless he just totally falls into a perfect situation which I doubt. He's getting picked way too high IMO........he'll be solid no doubt, but not as much as we all think.

What's funny is that Larry Fitzgerald will get picked ahead of Jones and just about every other WR in the league, even though the Cardinals don't have a QB to throw it to him.

id much rather have julio jones than fitz...guy is a beast and can make plays....expecting a 1200-10 td season

julio jones is the next best after calvin , it always seems that he makes 15 yard catches avoids a couple of tackles and breaks for 60 yd td,

This guy is def. worth it. He is fast and physical and is one of the leagues most dangerous deep threat. I think having roddy white across from him helps out with roddy white have the opposing teams number 1 corners on him it opens it up for Julio this guy is fun to watch I'm hoping i can grab him as well. Those YAC yards add up as well.

u guys are crazy if u would draft jones ahead of fitz... fitz is a better route runner and has better hands than julio... he is just as physical as well, and has never had injury problems like julio did last year... dont get me wrong i like julio and want him on my team but im taking fitz over him all day every day...

look at what he did last year with no qb he had 1400 yards and 8 TDs... and this year i dont think the cards will have the qb carousel they had last year... i think skelton is better than kolb and should be the starter, and will bring consistency to the position

Judging from ADP, I think Jones is the most overdrafted player right now. Good player, yes, would definitely want him. But his ADP in PPR leagues is 15th based on aggregator website. (Ahead of Charles, Gronk, Fitz, Mathews.) And that is just insane.

I would much rather have AJ Green over Julio Jones ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. I know he is a good reciever but as one of the first posters stated... Roddy White, Matt Ryan and the propensity to have a heavy running game really cools me on this guy. He is NOT the next best thing to Calvin Johnson.
