Thank You for Changing the "Matchup" Info Back

I was pretty annoyed when they decided to change the Matchup. No need to change a good thing, especially after 20+ years I've been on the site.

It's great the way it is/was with the last 10 games with the line history and starting pitching and everything it was fine. I think this weekend you briefly changed it to the last 5 for each of the projected starting pitchers with the series history or whatever. It was annoying having to navigate around to see the last 10 again. There is already a tab for the last 10 meetings. You can click on the pitcher and get their season long game logs already.

So stop changing stuff for the sake of changing stuff. It's fine the way it is.

Really?  Cmon now.  Best overall experience?  How do you get that out of a matchup page?  Not with more clicks and what you made it.  I'm with slamspurs, your testing was horrible.  I think you have the best matchup pages around.  I always start my handicapping at Covers.  Please stop messing with it.  Maybe its just us two.  Want feedback?  Post something in mlb forum or maybe you already have and I missed it.  Testing team should love feedback. 

Today the consensus #'s are gone?!?!. I always check them, the general consensus from the League Contests vs the leaders from the League Contests. Please restore this on the Matchups link. Very important to me and I'm sure others!!

Please restore it back... this is my go to everyday for sports betting. I have more than 20 years entering every day.

i'm with everyone else.   please go back to the old version of the matchups.   everything was perfect.   right in one spot with no need to look further unless you wanted to.   please change it back.

 Pretty much everything removed needs to be back. Umpire gone, pitching. Day/night, grass/turf, full pitcher vs team. It¡¯s like new coke. You¡¯re ruining something that works. No need to. At least have a ¡®classic view¡¯ option.  I¡¯m now looking for a new site as yours is missing what I need. Might find something better and never come back.  Hope you get enough back fill to make up for the loyal people you lose.

The Umpire data is still on the new matchup hub pages. If you scroll down to the bottom of the stats page, it is under 'More Stats' and click on the 'Umpire' tab next to the 'Bullpen' and 'All Starters' tabs. The same goes for the pitching data, you should be able to find everything on the Stats page under the 'Starters Last 5', 'Stats Analysis', and 'More Stats' sections of the page. As for the Day/Night and Grass/Turf data, I will share this feedback to the product team.

Why did you change it back again?

The standard "Last 10 games" format that you used in NFL and all other sports is great. One click I can see the last 10 meetings as well. 

This one isn't as bad as the one I originally posted about. I'm still one click away from seeing the last 10, but I have to do one extra click to get to the second team. 

You guys tried so hard to make a "Series" tab, but you don't show the most basic information. You know, the scores of their current 3-4 games of the series. That's what I expected to see when clicking that tab. 

I still don't understand why you guys are changing stuff for the sake of changing stuff. I've been a member of this site since it was Wagerline, and I believe it's always been the same format. 

I could deal with this change though. It's better than the last one which was a complete disaster. This is just different for the sake of being different.

The trends that you had before was so much better then what you have now, please bring it back, here is an example below,

Orioles are 9-0 in their last 9 games as a road favorite of -110 to -150.
Orioles are 6-0 in their last 6 when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Orioles are 5-0 in their last 5 after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Orioles are 12-1 in their last 13 games when playing as the favorite.
Orioles are 8-1 in their last 9 vs. American League Central.
Orioles are 7-1 in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400.
Orioles are 7-1 in their last 8 road games.
Royals are 2-14 in their last 16 home games.
Royals are 1-11 in their last 12 home games vs. a right-handed starter.
Royals are 1-13 in their last 14 home games.
Royals are 0-4 in Greinkes last 4 starts when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Royals are 0-7 in their last 7 home games with the total set at 9.0-10.5.
Royals are 0-8 in their last 8 games as a home underdog of +125 to +175.
Royals are 0-10 in their last 10 home games.

Had to come back to complain again today.

So why is it that when I click on matchup, you're not showing team win/loss records anymore? What makes you think that putting win percentage instead was a better idea? What happened to the right side at the top where you would have the starting pitcher record and ERA? 

And I'm trying to go back and check the Nats and Giants full season schedule now, since I can't click on "Season" anymore from the matchup page, so I just click on the Team, but the whole season schedule isn't showing up. 

Please change it back. I just moved back from europe after a decade and i would use this site
to bet here and there but im a web developer by trade and the UX, though great is kinda a huge
refactor from how it was stacked with info before. The tabs to present new data is cool but whats the 
point if its less sports data then before! So you can do cool things with react. Good for you ????. This
is a very very old website & i think in your scrum meetings you shouldve talked about this. Yes You should
hire me. This site is like craiglist, the UX is crucial on people navigating the site. Hopefully you didnt delete
that git branch on how it worked before haha. Revert back!

This thread is a good example. No one likes the new format. and this from last year.

This year what do they do? make it even worse....delete more data, make the fonts smaller, completely ignore requests...

The covers mgmt/ownership has no concern for user complaints. The focus is to drive you to data that promotes what their sponsors make money on.

Sportsbooks want a profitable clientele. They know what makes money...prop bets...notice the heavy increase in prop data.

Change is difficult for some...happens all the time...I see it in our business any time we make a change and employees express themselves about it...it's a free site so best to remember this...if you were paying then I could see your disdain over the site

The quick answer would be that we are working on making scores & matchups easier navigation with less scrolling as well.
