today Houston was 16+ underdog. But yet when you look at Covers final score it says 38-22 and that Houston was -5. I just can't figure. I love numbers but nothing I try makes any sense. I am just using this game. College football final results are all over the board. There must be a simple explanation. My wife says just let it go.

I see what you're saying and you're 100% correct. It makes it difficult to use the results to do any back testing. It didn't used to be like this. Not sure when the numbers went off the rails but it's been like this for a while now. It shouldn't be hard to fix the code. Maybe try asking in the "help" forum?
