Here we go again....so we lose the old format. I, with an open mind, attempted today to use the new format. I went to the new format, went to reply and hit the submit button and guess what...NOTHING happened. I did see that flashing covers emblem but had to go back to the old forum to post.
New technology does not always improve things...just ask the people of Iowa how that worked for them last night.
So any useful hints would be useful before you begin losing members. Hell, I would pay a fee to keep the old one.

Got to resist hard to change their minds...
Email them through the link they provide on their post and then start a thread in every forum you go to saying we DON'T WANT THE OLD FORUM TO GO AWAY...!

We are working to resolve the issue with posting in the new forum. We are committed to the outline date to retire the old forum for the many reasons outline in the update post. (Responsive layout, new features, running two platforms side by side).
We would love to hear your feedback about any specifics or additional technical issues that you might have with the new forum to ensure a smooth transition.
We hope to having the posting issue fixed as soon as possible.

- Responsive (does not fit in mobile devices properly, reducing our ranking with search engines such as Google, not user-friendly for people with visual disabilities)
- Not compatible with new technology (not able to add search, email notification, editing posts, etc.)
I understand that you might not care about any of the above but we feel that these are important issues to most users and we would love to keep adding new tools to the forum to help our users engage even more.
If you have any specific feedback about the new forum (usability, technical or design-wise) we would love to hear it.
