Would Bama beat this Penn St game at home?

This ought to be interesting some of the responses.....I will stay out of the SEC vs BIG10 debate because, 2024 is different, and so will 2025 be in January

Agree.  For 20 years we wanted playoff, we have one and I'm happy.

For several years we hated Alabama v. Georgia and wanted something different and I'm happy, chuffed even.

 I would have been fine if Bama deserved to make it. But they didn't. 

Someone made a good point in this forum. We are talking about 12 teams now. There will always be between 8-9 teams that deserve to be here. After that there will be some questionable decisions. The main thing is when we hit the quarterfinals in a week you will have the best 8 teams playing. Thats all we are looking for.

They may have been a favorite in the contest so Yes they stood a great chance a victory! They have better athletes and a better and larger coaching staff and a better legacy!

Alabama didn't deserve in based on the current format.  Is Alabama a top 12 team?  Yes.  If we want the best 12 teams in the playoff, we might as well let Vegas pick the top 12 teams based on their ratings.

We WONT have the best 8 teams next week.

Arizona State is playing. So is Boise.

 I'm sorry, the committee once again messed it up. How in the hell is Boise St. one of the best 8 teams in the country and they get a bye no less? Look at their conference. And OLE MISS and BAMA not in.

Why should Bama be in it? Didn't they lose to 6-6 Vandy and lose by a million to 6-6 Oklahoma?

Bama is still better than both SMU and Indiana. 

What would be the point of playing the regular season games then?  Their power ratings had bama as DD favorites against Vandy and OU and they shit the bed.  If bama and OM would’ve beat the teams they were supposed to beat they would be in…..but they didn’t 

And South Carolina is better than Alabama. What's your point? None of them made the playoffs.

Bama had their chances in the SEC.  IMO you have to give teams like SMU and Indiana their chance.

 This is exactly it. Some people want the best teams in and some want to give everyone a chance. If you want the best teams in ole miss and bama are both in and we haven¡¯t watched two blow outs. But these are really easy games to bet on at least lol

South Carolina, Bama, Ole Miss, Miami, etc...pretty much anyone but SMU.
