Utah +3
The stars are aligned for USC to lose by 3 tds to Georgia.

@riskybets
I would say USC is clicking at the right time? Offensive steamroller. More like stars aligning for the playoff? Utah has lost all three games on the road, and we know Rising is not going to play as good as last time. Utah may be more complete, but to beat them twice? Maybe, but I lean USC in a dome getting revenge.

trojan offense is a thing of beauty. but the defense can be non existent at times lol. can the trojans bring the heat and make the stops?

@CaseyMcGehee
Georgia has very good D..nothing like last years D..
But Caleb Williams made a good Notre Dame D look like clowns...
Good luck shutting him down...

Indeed the SC offense is running perfectly. Even with Travis Dye out, Austin Jones has filled in nicely. The SC secondary is absolutely atrocious! However they opportunitic. (e.g.2-3 turnovers / game). And that will be the difference maker. Utah's QB is gimpy too. Since his knee injury he's failed to crack 200yds all but twice vs. shitty defenses. (Stanford and Colorado).
Also Caleb has emerged as the front runner for the Heisman. Riley has given him more control over the offense and you can see that he now is the Xfactor even with all the talent around him.
Somehow I feel the Pac12 will make it happen (if you know what i mean) Even tho they'll get roadgraded by Georgia by 24+ pts minimum, they want to ensure a represntitive in the playoffs. College fball is better when USC is playing.

Caleb Williams played at local DC private school Gonzaga.....
Started his first year....they were loaded...Georgia wont beat them by 24 points
if he plays the whole game...

It's a tough call. Yeah Usc's 2ndary is bad but they do a decent job vs. the run. If they can contain Utes run game & put it all on Rising it becomes a shootout at qb.........Rising is actually a bit more effective as a runner than Williams but CW has thrown for about 1000 more yds.
Honestly, it's a coin flip......Utes could be down by 3 td's but will never be out of it.....& vice-versa. Utes have a good D but have given up big yards to better offenses.
I like the over more than either side....

@THEMUGG
It’d actually be a much smarter game plan for whittingham to run out the clock and keep Trojan offense on the sideline. Know what I mean

last meeting total was 65, total scored 85
this meeting total is only 67, seems low
I do like your angle that many will not expect Utah to beat Trojans 2x in the same season
be crazy if they do and it¡¯s highly possible on a neutral field

@riskybets
Sure.....& it might work for a while. But if they get behind by two scores you have to pitch that idea. I think Utah should just attack them on offense & see if they can get a couple stops on D.

not what I would do to get into a shootout without the guys who played in the first game. different personnel might mean a different approach
