JAMES MADISON - I think what's keeping this line from getting out of control is JMU likely with unknown backup QB but Billy Atkins a career backup for them and its his big moment to start .. WKY looks to be in major maaajor deep trouble here with guys opting out .. there's a couple guys maybe final year or last hurrah in college playing but its DIRE .. and just the situation they make the champ game and get THROTTLED like none other and guys pouring out the door just more and more leaving every hour since the season ended battling lot of injuries too .. the kicker is the QB sitch I don't see a major dude in the wings we have coache's son Turner Helton who if you recall last bowl ssn got the start vs ODU and went sack fumble and pick 6 before Veltcamp came in and led a 28 point comeback .. Velt is out and I can't imagine he surprises everyone and plays and same for the rest of the guys leaving very bad ending doesn't = unfinished business here I don't think .. JMU made their first bowl game as a program last year and their portalers ended up playing but lost very hard fought game vs Air Force .. and just listening to coach Chesney it feels like they'll be ultra dialed into this one .. very happy w the Boca location .. they know their fans are coming down and just guessing he has no problem going full on Cignetti on this wounded duck team ... It is bowl games and things are tough to predict maybe WKY rallies with what they got .. but I think good chance we have a real lobsided banger here .. 

I popped every MOV band north of 21 and the book end and yeah we really want one of the bigger margins to hit but even at 21 we'll get something out of it .. below is what we had on Fan and MGM for reference.. think all told might have .4 units spread around and we'll see if the idea holds up in real life .. but def shop around there might be something sweeter out there... good luck!

Picture is coming together a little more for this one .. I put Michigan on the dud radar early for the bowl game I mean there's nothing else needs doing after that Buckeyes win the best of the bunch can pretty much ride off into the sunset at that point .. some top guys already declaring and saying they're moving on .. UM news seems to have a good beat on a number of others they expect not to play and press conf seems to confirm that .. and UM very much gearing itself to next year while a win would be great you have a huge recruiting effort underway to fill the many voids left even ones left last year that weren't addressed not to mention the voids being created now .. and w the stars taking so many of the game reps this year feels like you use this game for the down ballot guys because you GOTTA know which guys can actually play .. good opponent to do that .. a loss doesn't really mean much I wouldn't think .. 

Bama diff story .. Deboer comes in replaces the guy who rarely loses twice in the reg ssn and he loses 3 .. saban rarely misses the 4 team playoff and he misses the 12 team playoff .. and the couple times Saban misses the playoff best believe he murdered his opponent in the bowl game .. namely K-State in '22 and Michigan in '19 .. and here we are paired up with the team that beat them by a nose in the semi's and beat Deboer in the natty .. Milroe says he's suiting up and general sentiments on the team are let's go finish this thing .. The portal hasn't been THAT bad to Bama this year and Deboer says he expects his dudes in there .. none of them are high first or even 2nd rounders and could make sense to showcase vs a quality opponent .. but MAAAAAAN Coach had better friggin win this game because even if the fan base is full on delusional in their expectations from the Saban years its more than rational to expect Bama to handle business in this spot and Bama can't get a win playing paddy cake feels like Deboer needs to murder in this spot given the two very divergent situations going into this game .. Bama roster does look pretty good, portal mayhem didn't hit them real bad .. possible there's more portalers and maybe guys going pro but Milroe very vocally on board wants some redemption is huge and think we get highly motivated crew looking for revenge .. Hate layin pts in bowl games but it's quite a spot here .. ROLL TIDE!!

ARMY / LA TECH OVER 42.5 (FAN)

Checked out La Tech's portal sitch and what they had final game vs Kennesaw and assume the portalers are out we're looking at a pretty tough defensive situation for Tech with multiple guys on the DL out including their BIG STUD David Blay .. quite a few of their DE's out as well .. there's also a couple 1's and 2's out in the secondary including their best CB .. they all could play its so early to tell but with total at 42.5 I can take a chance on the over now, hard to imagine this dips much lower withouth MAJOR optouts from La Tech's offensive unit which as of now appears to be completely in tact portal-wise basically all 1's n 2's .. 

On D if they can't get their guys wrangled back into playing this game this spells real trouble for a defense .. this was a pretty decent run top unit this year only Arkansas really broke thru vs them but worth noting if all the guys play its probably not a total run away game for Army .. There is some time till the game on the 28th but guys hitting the portal that's a long time to wait around and next team probably won't be thrilled about waiting and hoping they don't get hurt etc .. There is a reason to play though as its home field Bowl game but I could imagine a situation on the team where guys 'might' play and maybe come game time they end up wanting to get in there . But this is still not a great sitch with Coach wrangling his team back together and get the time and attn figuring out what to do vs this Army attack .. The DC is legit good esp vs a rush attack but alot of years in the Mizz Valley I don't believe he faced any option teams there or his one year at Kent State and hard to even call Kennesaw an option or similar sort of team this year changing things around quite a bit .. does seem like the potential is there to not be fully prepped or have the guys needed .. also Tech's pass D stunk and they might also be short handed .. 

My guess is Army is very happy to have an opponent here and coming off a terrible game they'll seek some real satisfaction after terrible loss .. there's quite a few seniors playing their last game namely Bryson Dailey but quite a few others esp on offense looking to have a big day .. should come into this one pretty salty .. good luck!

Wasn't dying to play this one but we're watching a USC team implode pretty hard with a number of big heavy hitters going to the portal .. such a ROUGH couple of years must have shaken the confidence of the men of troy and then this year rolls around and big win vs LSU but found it real tough to compete in the B10 for a full schedule .. lotta almosts .. welp, almost isin't why you go to USC and we can see a major confidence issue in the coaches and program forming .. this game really doesn't mean much to either team recruiting is much more on the forefront .. TAMU even with a disappointing end vs UT has some MAJOR MOJO going into the offseason with alot of their quality players returning and next year looks pretty bright for them .. I'd imagine a surprise good year was a welcome sign to the NIL depositors out there and we just haven't seen the movement of their guys even threatening the portal lot still in place ... idk if that means they all play but its often a good sign for a team heading into a bowl gearing up for a big year .. S.Carolina is another one but that line is just too much .. Also gotta like that Mike Elko had Duke ready for their 2 bowl games and huge win in the first one when he didn't have the QB injury issues .. still bagged a W in the 2nd one .. Lincoln Reilly had taken Oklahoma to the playoffs a few times and showed up and smacked Florida and Oregon around in bowl games .. he smacked Ville around last year but realllly did feel like Ville just didn't show up / playing backups etc weren't up for it .. he also fell to Tulane in the NY6 bowl a game they shoulda won easy if it was a reg ssn non con game .. this feels like he has a matchup with a team showing up with his team in a tough situation .. layin the chalk .. sighhh.. good luck!

Didn't get the mass WKY exodus we could have, Veltkamp is playing reportedly but we might see quite a few other outs at other positions, we'll see what kinda determination they show up with .. I do feel solid that JM is showing up for a big win backup QB Atkins looks like a athletic capable dude .. WKY's last determined opponent destroyed them in every way and Hills were no doubt playing to win that one so hope its still a one sided deal here .. 

I think it's very possible we end up with a WACKY natty matchup could be two teams from the first round could be one real surprise opponent in there .. we have two teams that would be MAJOR shockers if they made the natty and they get the first round bye, and home field first round .. verrrry skewed playing field and anything wacky in round one might pair up two surprise opponents locking one of them into the semi's .. and one thing we can say about this season is nobody looks like a real sure thing ... Tenn's path is hard but offense comes alive they might have a D that can cause OSU trouble and maybe hang in w Oregon.. Penn State's path gives them a great shot to make the champ game and thought they did great wipping together a game plan vs Oregon when they were planning a week off .. UGA w new QB and offense struggles again we can put them on upset alert vs ND .. or .. maybe even Indy?.. and I don't mind rooting for a little more ASU magic! .. nothing normal about what they're doing this year so can put a few fun bucks down .. GO DEVILS!!!

Might get better by waiting but think we want to lock in a free 7 .. Eli Holstein missed final game and if he's in maybe you'll get 8 or 8.5 .. think this line is projecting him to play maybe minus a point or two .. if he doesn't though I think we quickly move under a TD maybe down to 4 / 4.5 .. even if he does play we've seen the motion of the ocean so far and pretty much every dog that has a full cupboard depth chart is gunna get their line pushed down and either way I expect this to close under a TD .. Can't say Toledo is all that good of a team but Pitt's D stunk this year and ending the season losing 5 in a row and going to the motor city bowl to play toledo probably isin't making them too excited for their post season .. Toledo maybe has more to play for here very bad taste left over after that final game that knocked them out the MAC champ game .. maybe see a little unfinished business situation for them esp getting a big P4 opponent .. they could certainly lose this easy but we did see them show up vs Wyoming last year in a game I thought they'd have no shot in and played really well miracle 'coach final game' is only thing that helped Wyo at the end .. and I think we'll at least get a team showing up trying here.. happy to take a free TD in bowl season with a team showing up and playing hard ..

It would seem like easiest way for Toledo to win is for fewer points to be scored .. hopefully Holstein is out or limited and with lot of the opt out / xfers for Pitt on the offensive side maybe we do end up getting a lower scoring affair ..

Was hoping for a MASSIVE BANGER but no chance of that JMU seemed to shoot themselves in the foot quite a bit couldn't reallllly get the run solidly going on a weakened WKY defense, felt like coach should have found some big plays with Hills just crowding the box but too many miscues dudded out too many drives .. Dukes D was solid as expected .. EOD happy with them eeking out the cover ..

Yeah train I was soooo hopeful Manny would show up full roster guys just ready to take a big scalp while Rebs waiting around a month you could see Kiffin showin up w a bunch of college dropouts smokin and playin video games all break lookin to get HOUUUUSED .. And hard to imagine Maliik "The Stink" Murphy's golden opp at Oreg State woulda been waiting for him if he played .. who knows .. maybe he'd land at something a little more interesting .. Great performance by ND totally shut Indiana down .. Cignetti took a rag-tag group of G5-Journeymen and other genuine football players turned them into a formidable B10 force .. well .. 'B10 West' force .. End of the day feels like what we were watching was one of those games where like an Elite South Dakota State FCS team plays someone scraping the top 30 in FBS .. bigger faster stronger and all that talent differential adds up and Indy's D defending the run put them outta position all night ... Ciggy gets aggressive w 9 guys crowding ND at the 2 but OL gets hat on a hat, single high safety steps up to 2nd level and just never had an angle to catch ELITE RB J-LOVE who hits the hole untouched, nice block by WR and goodbye nobody catching that dude .. Felt like we did see Indy's able to slow them up at times and get pressure on Riley but his scrambling buys the time and OC Denbrock seemed to be a step ahead Riley just always seemed to have an out and found it time and again putting long drives together .. Not much for Rourke to throw to saw him lead his double covered WR too far and drops it in the safetys mitts on that MAJORLY critical INT .. a score there maybe covers the spread all else the same including the onside TD .. 2 TD's in garbage time only bagged a FG when the game mattered .. OL major breakdown when  PFF shows virtually all ND's pressure came vs pass sets pass had Indy cornered on critical plays .. 

Think we saw UGA totally shut down an all around stronger offense twice vs the horns on the road and neutral, stopped bama bleeding for the big comeback on the road, and FREAKISH turnovers on the road vs Ole Miss .. think Dawgs D is just toooo disruptive and quick to the punch and won't be out of position and have talent edge in spots ND doesnn't namely ND WR corps .. ND down a major DL dude potentially w Riley Mills going down last night .. Rocco Spindler starting OG also went down .. and maaan extra game might test the depth of this team .. PFF shows next man up is a big drop down .. Also UGA gets an extra tape on what these guys throwing their best heat and what they can do with and without the potentially injured starters .. just feels like UGA will have a plan here .. good luck!

Crazy as it sounds I thought the Wave as a team showed up with the juice to compete and UF injuries and opt outs and Lagway trying wayyy too hard had the Wave D stifling him time and again was a great setup to cash a ticket here .. I should have looked around and seen whether Ty Thompson could throw more than 5 yards .. that guys was absolute 100% PURE DOG SH!T and I feel like selfishly ruined any shot because Tulane probably could have put a few drives together just dinkin n dunkin down the field, and instead from literally first play we saw Thompson tryin to show off some ability that wasn't there .. late game landed in the death cycle of can't move the ball / short field UF score ..  felt like if he just does the QB power mixes that short dinks n dunk runs n passes this team maybe keeps drives together and we have just suuuuch a different shorter game and one they at least have an outside shot in late .. Gator seemed to know he couldn't throw further down field and just took away their run game and it was game over for the offense . I saw Thompson skip easy open targets for first downs .. not scramble for first downs .. whiff on open guys, make horrible reads, wait wayyy too long miss all the windows .. same dumb look on his stupid face all game give him his squeegee back and drop him off at the underpass you found him .. portal QB playing for his transfer stock and willing to kill the game trying to show off instead of playing to compete and win is just not a spot I thought we'd end up in w this one .. HOLY SMOKES ..
