BET MORE on Boston... 1 more unit at (+310)... making my total bet 3 units at (+217) average... potential wins:  6.5 units... potential loss:  3 units

now, with your method, once i make that bet i am stuck... there is no way to further hedge or gain value on that bet... with my method, there are still 4 games to play... if Boston wins 4 and 5 (which they will), LA will be back to a pick em heading into game 6...
