Circa Survivor contestants hoping for a Week 15 purge were left wanting, with just one entry eliminated in what was the chalkiest week yet.
The field moved from 51 entrants to 50 with just three weeks remaining in the NFL's regular season, with a San Francisco selection the only one on the chopping block. The 49ers dropped a 12-6 decision to the Los Angeles Rams in a Thursday Night Football dud.
All of the remaining entrants advanced at least one more week, with just five other teams comprising the entire selection list:
Team | Picks | Pick Rate | Result |
---|---|---|---|
Minnesota Vikings | 15 | 29.4% | Won 30-12 vs. Bears |
Baltimore Ravens | 12 | 23.5% | Won 35-14 @ Giants |
Arizona Cardinals | 10 | 19.6% | Won 30-17 vs. Patriots |
Cincinnati Bengals | 8 | 15.7% | Won 37-27 @ Titans |
Washington Commanders | 5 | 9.8% | Won 20-19 at Saints |
Commanders pickers had the biggest sweat of the day by far, as the Saints rallied from a three-score deficit but failed to convert what would have been a game-winning two-point attempt with no time left on the clock.
Each remaining entry now has an implied value of $285,320, based on a winner-take-all first prize of $14.27 million.
Many entrants have prime Week 16 pick options, as well.
Sixteen teams still have Buffalo available, with the Bills installed as 14-point home favorites against New England. Half the field is eligible to select the Green Bay Packers (favored by 13 1/2 points in the Monday nighter against visiting the Saints) while a whopping 45 of 50 entrants can opt for the Atlanta Falcons, who are -9.5 at home against the New York Giants.
