Waikato showed some good signs against Canterbury and Taranaki aren't within coo-ee of Canterbury. While Weber played well last game, Kerr-Barlow's appearance can only help the cause. The form around Taranaki is pretty ordinary. Counties Manukau have looked awful and Hawkes Bay are just a middle of the road 2nd Div side.
My book hasn't put up a market yet but I'd expect Waikato to be around 6.5 favourite. If so I'll snap that up as I expect Waikato to win by 10+
Good punting all

I think I shall be going against you myself, I think Taranaki has a good engine that keeps them in the game.
I was shocked that Waikato's inexperienced team got a good win over Wellington, but after seeing lowly Northland demolish Wellington the week after, I think the Waikato win can be taken with a grain of salt.

Shazza - agree that you can't read much into the Wellington win but I think Waikato will create more scoring opportunities than Taranaki. I'm expecting them to score 30+ and I don't know that Taranaki have more than 20 in them.
Time will tell - GL my friend
