Super rugby round 15

Still cranky for throwing the Rebels in as an "additional" bet at the last minute last Friday. Still, Tahs covered and 1 from 2 last week leaves the record at 10 from 15.

Championship rematch this weekend. While neither side is going as well as at the end of last season, this game has a real test match atmosphere about it. Tahs have been inconsistent with many sub par performances but are hard to beat at home and are very good when they get it right. Crusaders have a great record against Tahs and it's their time of the season. If the home side are at their very best they probably win but the visitors will be playing with an AB's resolve and AB's don't lose many. I have Crusaders slight favourites for this one and the price being offered about them is too tempting not to make them the bet of the round.

What an entertaining game the Chiefs and Bulls put on last night and congrats to Chris Pollock for his part in it. Refs have copped plenty this season, and justifiably so, but last night's game flowed sweetly. Good interpretation of the advantage law, not being pedantic at scrum and breakdown, yet not allowing errors to go unnoticed.

Of the other game it was great to see Genia again go well. I have Stirzaka and him as our two best 9's with White and Phipps battling for the 3rd spot in RWC squad. Also JOC, while undoubtedly a talented footballer who could cover 10 and 15 from the bench, at a pinch, confirmed that he is primarily a winger.

Actually ended up getting $2.30 Saders.

Nevertheless I hope Tahs win.
