Maybe I'm wrong but I see a lot of value on this England side.
Yes NZ were impressive against Ireland and their speed and intensity was suffocating, but other than getting the early group stage against SA, which for me was a lot to do with some cheap SA turnovers, what has NZ proven? Japan beat Ireland and made them look pretty ordinary, while this same Japan side couldn't get one bit of go forward against SA, so I'm discounting that Irish win heavily. Other than that it was just Canada and Namibia - they play rugby?
England's coach definitely has a history of creating upsets at the WC, with Japan against SA last WC and Australia against NZ in the semi's in 03 when NZ under Mitchell looked invincible.
England's form is also very strong winning and covering in all their games. Last time they played each other was at Twikenham ending 16-15 to NZ, but they were down 15-0 at HT. I think this will be close and maybe England can nick it?
