1. Penalties against the side feeding the scrum. I can't for the life of me see why the side that has committed the original error which resulted in the scrum can possibly be entitled to a penalty. The feed is such an advantage that there's rarely a reason to intentionally infringe and even when they do the worst result should be a short arm. I don't see how from causing the original infringement a side can score or gain territory plus the throw. Not to mention that so many of the scrum penalties are a toss of the coin anyway.
2. Tackled players getting to their feet and continuing with the ball. Refs have been instructed for a couple of years to be strict on the tackler releasing and rolling away. Fine, but you can't then allow the tackled player to regain his feet and continue as if he'd never been tackled. He must be made to release the ball, regain his feet and then he can play the ball. This was pinged on one occasion in the Under 20's final but that was certainly the exception.
