From the Highlanders team to play the Crusaders on Saturday.

First time for 2 years the great fullback hasn't started for the Highlanders.

Have got a lot of time for Ben Smith and actually prefer him to Dagg (for whom I also have a lot of time).

Read a review earlier in the week stating Tahs scored a try (I think it was Folau's from memory of the game) after Smith "uncharacteristically knocked on". Mighty harsh reporting as few would have even got their fingertips to that pass let alone catch it.

His omission will make an already hard job for Highlanders even harder.
