Eckroat looks like a solid young player. Out of Oklahoma State 2nd year on tour already 102 OWGR
Finished in 2nd 2 weeks ago in a duel amongst a bunch of guys including Scheffler who he finished ahead of!
Eckroat was so solid all the way right to the end. Not scared. And here he is again right in the Top 10
Thru 2 rounds Eckroat numbers T2G and APP are 4 strokes better than Young.
Young been putting lights out picking up 7.38 strokes gained putting thru 2 rounds. At -5 that means the rest of his game hasnĄ¯t been great. I expect his putting to regress to the mean rd3. After all Young is 102nd on tour in strokes gained putting and Eckroat is 81st.

Really exactly as drawn up. Young insane putting reverted to mean and below! Young was -3.5 strokes gained putting today and he again was negative OTT & negative T2G
Eckroat wasnĄ¯t his best and didnĄ¯t putt well (-1.7 strokes) but unlike Young, Eckroat was positive strokes gained OTT and T2G and won easily.
my tourney play Davis was a loser when Davis laid an egg rd2 and ended on wrong side of cut because he had a double bogey on 18 to MC by 1.
Just looking back to last week it was a shame to push with Matsuyama v Spieth who was and remains injured. Matsuyama led by 3 heading to Sunday but pushed when Matsuyama had a lousy rd4, and came back to Spieth and then missed a 6Ą¯ putt on 18 which wouldĄ¯ve won.

True Davis no star. For me Davis had been playing well with 4 Top 17s last 6 events

On other side SiWoo had never played well here. Thought it was a good spot but SiWoo having his best tourney here ever. That’s gambling. Whatever chance I had with Davis (only down 3 or 4) was blown with a double on 18 to MC. But yea, I get that Davis isn’t great. Serious choke job there on 18. He had to know he needed to make bogey or better.
i hear that, i follow some vegas guys long shots. great pod they hit alot so i like when i like someone their on them. he comes up in all their models all the time
