it just seems more often online because you play so many more hands.
and trust me, I have been there with the bad beats, but you really just have to feel good that you went in with the best hand and didnt get out played. just unlucky.
I know its hard to take that advise when you are steaming, but if you are steaming that bad where you have to come on here and vent about it or start petitions, I honestly dont think you have what it takes to play the game of poker

I love that slogan. Just happens online because you see more hands. Look, I know the percentages. I've been playing now for more than 10 years. I read all the major books, watched all the major tournaments on TV, and have played countless hours at home games and at the casino. I've even had stretches of great play online. I know when things are legit, but online poker is not. Just sit down and watch a table sometime, don't even play on it. Count how many times when the chips are all in, that the hand who is behind winds up winning the pot. It's amazing. They juice up the results so people will say exactly this

That is what exactly keeps the good players coming back for more. The donk that just went runner runner for a flush to beat you is going to keep coming back for more too. This just bumps up the rake and keeps the games exciting. If online poker was legit, it would be regulated and governed by some sort of committee or group. It's not. They are free to do as they please. It is no more legit than playing the online casino games.

Oh and another point, you have to worry about collusion and bot players online. You have no idea how many people at your table are friends and are chatting about their hands via another chat template. I know I've done it before with friends on yahoo messager. You can't do that at a live table. Sure you could have signs and tells to point out things to a friend, but you can't tell him that you just folded an ace letting him know that there is only 2 other aces in the deck, screwing his percentages. Then you have to worry about bots.
ALSO
How many times in real life does a guy come sit down at a cash game, take a big pot then just get up and leave. Online players are coming and going so fast you have no idea how they really play. I've seen so many players take huge pots within the first 20 minutes of sitting down, and then just get up and leave because they know they can plop down at a new table. That doesn't happen as often in casino's. If it did, those players would get a bad rep and probably be looked down upon. There are so many players online that you have no clue what to expect.
The only thing online poker is good for is big multi table tournaments. Maybe you can make a good cash or win a seat to a big live tournament.
It's just convenience. If you had your choice of playing live or playing online, which would you choose? Why? If there was a casino right next door to your house, where would you play at more? Live....because it's better. No argument there.

Agree 100% man. I played live this whole weekend and maybe had 2 to 3 bad beats in total. Online is rigged to get the most money in the pot as possible as this is how they make thier money and there is nooone able to prove that magical random card generator is even being used. I only won about $300 playing live in 2 seperate sessions 8 hours each but I am way happier playing live.
