I was down there a couple of years ago for a Golf outing.
The only room that was spreading anything higher than $1-$2 was the Intercontinental San Juan Casino. They had one $2-$5 game going and it was very very easy to beat. Had about 4 or 5 spanish speaking locals looking to take some cash off stupid tourists. I was able to crack that game relatively fast.
I messed around with some other rooms and I would say just dont expect anything like a mainland american casino. To me it was nothing like any room i had played before. The locals are VERY VERY TIGHT. You can push them around all night, but just be ready to grind grind grind if you want to win anything.
So if your there just there to gamble and have a good time and play some Poker for recreation your going to be disappointed for sure. If you want to win some money and you take Poker more seriously there is some money to me made.
But this was a couple of years ago, maybe it has changed.
Either way good luck and have a good time

Nope sorry man. I'm not a big Caribbean traveler. That trip was the only time I have played Poker in any of the Islands. I went to Punta Cana, D.R. in 2002 with the wife but I did not play any cards on that trip.
When I travel it's mostly to Las Vegas lol
