I've been on the hunt to find a poker site that accepts mastercard, however i cannot find one. I used to play a few years back and had no problem depositing through a mastercard. Whats the deal? Also, if anyone knows of a site that accepts them please let me know... thanks!

Any site will accept Mastercard, but the issuing bank (Citibank or whoever) is the one that won't allow it. The reason is that you could deposit money and then if you lose you claim your card is lost.

no gambling sites accept mastercard from now on...new rules started few weeks ago....visa is on its way out too

Is that gonna happen worldwide? They'll go bankrupt if they ban visa

no just us probably....visa is still around is us but alot of visa companies arent accepting international transactions anymore

Pokerstars accepts Vanilla Mastercards.

It depends on the bank you use, but yes, mine no longer accepts poker transactions using my Mastercard. And my sportsbook quit allowing it a few years ago. At least my corrupt bank knows what is best for me. I am so giddy whenever the teller smiles at me that I may cave in and open up a money market account for 5 years at 3% ROI.

Fulltilt/Pokerstars both use instant echecks. Safest, and easiest way to deposit.
