Are PSTARS and FULLTILT the only places you guys play?

I am interested in playing online poker. I have never played online poker before and after reading alot of posts here, it seems that everyone either plays on PSTARS or FULLTILT. Yet I have read alot of bitching about both sites.

Are there no other legitimate online poker sites to play at? (Are the other online poker sites just rip-offs?)

If PSTARS and FULLTILT are the only legitimate sites to play at, then which of these 2 sites is the best for a begginer (donk) like me?

Not sure what site would be better for a newbie.

I'm sure if you start out at low staked on either you will be fine.

But to answer your first question, yes. Those are the only 2 sites you really need to have an account with.

I'm sure there are a couple others out there that might be ok, buddy of mine likes the new sites The Players Club

But Stats and Tilt are by far the 2 best online poker rooms. #3 is not even close.

trying to play head-up to finish off a Sit-n-Go as we speak

staked = stakes

the new sites = the new site

But Stats and Tilt = But Stars and Tilt

Dont post and play heads-up at the same time

Cake Poker is another not so well known reputable site thats out there

In my opinion though Pokerstars has more amateur players than full tilt, so I'd start off on Pokerstars

There are other legitimate sites but I agree with Weathered. Those are the only 2 you really need to be on

I'm going to sign up with PSTARS first and give it a try. Hope I can last through the weekend with my initial deposit.

How much are you going to deposit?

Online levels are much different than live. $100 buyin live with blinds 2/3 is like .10/.25 $25 buyin online, and no higher than .25/.50 $50 buyin

try absolute poker they are ok i won a thosand on that site and the check was in the mail

No its the same tables, tournament etc. There will might be some exclusive promotions at one room that the other room do not have. For exsample Doyles sometimes got bounty-tours where Doyle Brunson is playing. These tournament is only for Doylesrooms players.

They only diff. is that DR does not offer rakeback at the moment, as far as I know. If you want to play on the cake network you should sign up from a affiliate providing you with 33% rakeback at this network.

partypoker has lots of bad players there same with pokerstars if you go to the right table if they are there pkr has donks there but ran into 2 cheaters do not go there to it stunk last night there with these assholes there . tiger poker is okay but games take too long same with titan best advice try partypoker if you are not a american they have a ban there cheers good luck it is fun game

Dont sign up at FullTilt without being set up with rakeback first. PM me if you have any questions about getting set up with rakeback. You get 27% cashback on your rake at FT.

agree that PS and FTP are the main ones. Cake Poker and a couple others are ok as well. Absolute Poker is a joke and along w/ Ultimate Bet should be avoided due to issues in the past
