It's late, dark, and raining. In the left side of the passing lane (the one I'm in) there is a young black kid on a bike wearing dark clothes. I see him just in time to avoid obliterating him, but it was close.
Have never come that close to hitting someone who wasn't also in a vehicle. I don't know what he was thinking but he may never know how close he came to the end.
I can just see it now. Scal Sharpton and other blacks would claim I hit him on purpose and demand justice. Blacklivesonbikesmatter and all that. Then my posts on here would get leaked and it would become a national news story. When the jury finds me not guilty riots would erupt all over the country and many young blacks would start riding down the highway on their bicycles at night in protest. None of their mommas would win their wrongful death or hate crime/manslaughter lawsuits however.
