What are the ingredients for a bounce back spot? The list is endless, but here is one scenario.
- An above average team loses a very close contest to a superior division foe on the road.
- The team is in the playoff hunt but hasn¡¯t clinched a playoff birth.
- The team has a very good coach and a very good QB who will rally the troops to put the bad loss behind them.
- The above-average team is now taking on an average team that has overachieved and is on a multiple game winning streak by defeating below-average opponents.
Two teams fit the above scenario for a bounce back spot this week. They are the Packers, playing at Seattle (winners of 4 straight) and the Chargers at home against the Buccaneers (winners of 3 straight) I am on both the Packers and Chargers this week. I got the ML early when the lines came out but the ATS (-2.5) looks very reasonable.
