i don't think they go back to Fields this late in the season (and he has been banged up). Pickens just came back - Pittsburgh will give them time to get him going again, but really, yes, offense was bad, but no pressure on Mahomes, constant 3rd down conversions...

Steelers offense is average even when functioning, but their defense has to be very good to win a game like this

Big deal they won a SB with him it means nothing its only a 3 game championship its not multiple series to win like all the other sports.

Any coach that coaches long enough that has a decent team will eventually have a team that strings three wins in a row to win a SB

Totally agree and Coach Canton (the numb-nuts in the woodpile) will never be fired as long as the wokester owner Art Deuce is in charge. The rot starts at the very top and filters on down. Tomlin will never lead them to the promised land and his staff are mediocre imbeciles like himself. 

Tomlin offers up word salad interviews that the mainstream sports' media swoons over. He is a male Kamala Harris.

Blowhards in the media like Rich Eisen hole blow smoke about what a swell head coach he is. They all do, all of this nonsense about teams standing in line to hire him? If being given a participation trophy with mediocre results is the goal, then yes, he will be your guy. 

A boycott by Steeler Nation would get the owner's attention but they are too dumbned down and limp wristed to do anything about it. Outside of the ownership and the phony media, Tomlin is despised by anyone with a functioning brain in Western Pennsylvania. 

Bradshaw was right about this phony, he is nothing but a cheerleader, an embarrassment, and a failure.

Tomlin ran up the white flag so that Reid would call off the dogs. What kind of a game plan was that???  I wouldn't have Tomlin run a cat-house, he would manage to screw things up even with excited participants. 

Every part of that team is deeply flawed. The Steeler defense is burned out as they all forgot how to tackle nor have they the will to tackle and the Oline isn't run or pass blocking. The team is a total dumpster fire. 

Tomlin in the post game interviews said that 'Kelce is a zone killer' this after the Steelers sat in a cover 3 zone the entire game. What a defensive genius this guy is.

Classic Tomlin. Pathetic conservative coaching and only has a job because he keeps a decent defense around every year and wins 8-10 games. For Pittsburgh Steelers football, this is the minimum expectation.

2017 - Lost to Blake Bortles Jags in divisional round
2018 - Collapsed late Missed playoffs
2019 - Missed playoffs
2020 - Collapsed late and Bounced by Browns in WC Round
2021 - Blowout by Chiefs in WC round
2022 - Missed Playoffs
2023 - Blownout by Bills in WC Round
2024 - Isn't looking good.

Best case scenario for Steelers would be the 5th seed to take on Texans.. they need the Chargers to lose one of last 2 games.. I don¡¯t see Steelers going all out to beat the Bengals

Do some research before you say braindead things. The Steelers win next week, they either win the division (with a Baltimore loss) or get the 5 spot and play Houston. But in your mind they are content with losing next week, finishing sixth or seventh and going to Buffalo/Baltimore for the playoffs. 

Even if the Steelers finish with the same record as the Chargers, they hold the tiebreaker.

FYI I did my research I know they have tie breakers over Chargers and Broncos

you can call it brain dead if you want but Steelers gave away the AFC North and have a slim chance to win it back.. 

I see the Bengals winning on Sat that would make the final week interesting needing a win against the Steelers and loss by Broncos but KC will likely rest starters so Broncos may have an easier path

I called it braindead because of your remark that you could see the Steelers taking it easy against the Bengals. That makes zero sense with either playing Houston vs Buffalo on the line. Big difference.

And you misinterpreted the Chargers scenario, because the Steelers hold their destiny in their own hands, regardless if the Chargers win both games.
