Fuckiing Idiots
You know...Gruden, of all people, should know better than to try that pansy, box ass "no score new NFL" crap...you score the TD...then dare them to beat your defense....that is old school....
I'm ashamed of Gruden...he should be fired...he knew better...
Maybe the analytical pussie bois upstairs who use "manpons" talked him into it...sad...

Was the right call...but you don¡¯t dial up a cover 2 man coverage with 12 seconds letting a guy get burned and your cover safety all alone....horrible defensive call....

@Paradise808
That¡¯s an automatic 4 quarters zone with all the DBs you have on the roster playing for the deep ball...instead you called cover 2 man coverage which is borderline fixed call...there¡¯s a reason they call the nfl fixed and I would put this on a fixed game for sure after seeing that horrible defensive call.

I agree completely. I just wrote about this in another post. I'm 52 years old. This laying down at the 1 crap started in college football fairly recently and has now transferred over into NFL games and it just needs to stop!! The ONLY time you should lay down at the 1 yard line is if you need a FG to win and can drain the clock down to 3 seconds (enough time to kick the FG). Even then, a FG is never a gimme. The only other time you lay down is if you have a lead by less than 1 score (8 points of less) and can run the clock all the way to zero. Other than that, just STOP! Like in the Cleveland game a few weeks ago with Chubb running out of bounds at the 1 instead of scoring thus leaving time on the clock for another possession for Houston. I'm glad Miami did this tonight! Sure I lost on the -2.5 spread, but Miami just showed teams that you don't lay down unless you can end game with the ball still in your possession. Good job Miami!
