8.5 seconds, up 3 with the ball. If you end bounds it, the game is over. Nobody came to the ball and the dreaded long pass turnover. Then, you allow a cross court pass to a guy at the 3 point line and you don¡¯t foul??!! Deserve this loss

That sounds like an overreaction but it really isn't. Taking that game 1 would have been absolutely huge. More than anything it gives you belief you can do it. Also after a tough 7 game series i expected them to be tired, they somehow kept the energy going or at least the shots making, but now they blew it, I think getting up for another road game after that gonna be tough and they are going to indy down 0-2.
I remember in the Knicks Sixers series when the Sixers were up 6 with a minute left in game 2 and somehow lost (thanks in part to the refs) and I was like, 'That is gonna cost them the series'. And even tho they blew the Knicks out in Philly game 3, that loss still doomed them.
Big moments like that are what swing things, and it can be hard to recover from being on the wrong side of them
But, Im not sure what Carlisle could have done, they never had the chance to foul as the ball never touched the floor, if you foul before the ball gets in i think you get a technical FT and the ball so you don't want to do that either

Yeah, they really blew it. Inbound the ball, and the game is over. Weird game. Looked like another Game 1 blowout for Boston up 12-0.

¡°This loss is totally on me. With 10 seconds in regulation, we should¡¯ve just taken the timeout, advanced the ball, found a way to get it in, made a free throw or two, and ended the game.¡±

Shoulda just took IND for the points.
There were a couple moments in the game where BOS went on some runs and it looked dicey but as soon as it was nearing the end of reg it was pretty much a W for people who took the spread.

Also on indiana’s previous possession haliburton just dribbled it off his foot going upcourt uncontested.. the winning chance had to be really high taking it out of bounds with a three-point lead and eight seconds, geez to lose that 1 a tough pill to swallow..

Idk how haliburton lost the ball twice just dribbling it up court. Dude is goofy like that I guess. Acting like a autistic child the last 10 seconds
