Hell ya we are back......!!!!! Tickets in hand sitting in section 110 and 9 rows back from the fence. This time I got an Isle seat for when those red flags start flapping in the wind. If anyone is going, some beers and shots on me.....!!!!! To get started on wagering I will have a bank roll of 1000.
The first thing I am going to say is Logano is a beast and will try to get a solid position for points regarding another championship win. He is a top 6 on my list to win here. Its no surprise his teammate, Keselowski is the favorite to win at +700 as of now with Logano at +825. These two are going to work together in combine their tactics. Harvick is at +850 and he is my number 2 on my list. Cannot and will not fade him ever. I just hope he is not taking out of the race late as what happened at the Coke Zero last year. That was his win....!!!! I have to skip over Kurt Bush and take the mean monster Kyle Bush at +1200 as he is my number 1 pick.
I do respect this driver and Jimmy Johnson is at +1800, but new crew chief at the start of the season is a fade for me. Ryan Newman +4400 knows what is like to feel victory lane here and finishing last year at 17th with just 769 points is a bust for me although he had 9 top 10's last year. I do have three sleepers and they are Chase Elliot at +1300 and Kyle Larson at +2500 and finally Martin Truex Jr at +1500.
These are all my possible picks and I need to narrow it down to 6. Open to thoughts and suggestions and I hope this will be a race to go down in one of the top 10 best Daytona 500's
BOL and cheers......!!!!!!

Speaking of taking out Harvick by TheBig one in the Clash this past Sunday. I hope that curse is over with going into Daytona 500 Sunday. I still cannot believe what Jimmie Ą°looks likeĄą what he did to get the checkered flag, but......I see a trend here and not just with him. Thank god I am fading that boy, he is gonna get hurt this Sunday.

do you think the new ford body style going to slow them down like it seemed to do the chevy past few years
Penske racing has been a new staple in Ford requisition and the tests have proven to be legit. The aerodynamics is second to none. I do understand that the creation of a new car is a give and take relationship, but if you see what is going on in a speedway such as Daytona and Talladega the drivers are introducing a new racing style. That is a single file line and a more conservative way of racing to over take an opponent when the opportunity arises. Aerodynamics is the new key to racing in 2019.

........adding another 1000........total 2000 for the Daytona 500......reason, the field is amazing.....the pole position is outstanding......!!!! I should have my top six in order by tonight if not tomorrow early AM. My sportsbook closed for the race a day before qual so now I have to sit down and wait till it opens back up for the odds.

Top Pick - Chase Elliott Darkhorse - Daniel Suarez Enjoy the race!
Chase is going to be strong all year, I just have that feeling. I am in a pool and he is in with Harvick and Kyle B who I have selected but really want to drop one of them for Chase but which one?
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.

My number one pick, Kyle Bush, comes in at second place finisher......money down the drain because he did not want to race after the last and final caution. Why the heck did Kyle go low when he knows that the top was pushing better prior to the last two cautions? It only tells me that he wanted his teammate, Hamlin to win. ItĄ¯s Gibbs racing at its finest when his cars come in at 1,2,3 sequence. Do you think the political aspect of NASCAR is the same as the NFL? Of course it is! ItĄ¯s all about honoring JD Gibbs!
Anyway it was a fascinating experience to be at the Daytona 500. I will come back next year..!!!!
