They won't play any old stuff while they're on tour so I didn't go. I like the new album ok, but you have to have a few oldies

Saw them in Vegas Friday night and last night in Phoenix Row 4 in the middle.

Open with Subdivisions then Big Money and Force 10. Awesome show. 1 hour straight then a break, then the better part of 2 hours.

Including old songs. YYZ, Spirit of Radio, 2112, Tom Sawyer, Red Sector A, Middletown, Analog Kid.

A string section backs them up on the 2nd half of the show which does include about 80% of Clockwork Angels which is a great cd but it's just not ingrained because it's newer. They played the garbage out of Headlong Flight and Clockwork Angels was damn good too.

When you see RUSH, you get your monies worth!!!!

My buddy made 4 signs based on Pearts books. After the first break a manager barrels through the row and asks who's got the posters? I point to my buddy. The manager says "Neil wants to trade you these 2 sticks (from the first set) for the posters".

I couldn't believe it, my friend almost cried he was so happy. He's seen them 23 times, I've seen them 8.

They filmed for a dvd in Phoenix and they put on an amazing show!

I reviewed the set list, it was 28 songs! How sweet it is to see a legendary band that goes above and beyond realistic expectations. They're exhausted when they are finished. Never 2 shows in 2 days, they just can't do it.

Seeing other artists do 1.5 hours and an oncor gets old. We pay top dollar to go to a venue, get more or less robbed for a beer, the least the headliner can do is make sure you get your monies worth. RUSH does it EVERYTIME.

I asked my buddy what his wife thinks about sleeping with Peart's drumsticks? He said she's cool with it but only for a week... He still can't believe that happened and neither can I. You might get a chance to catch a drumstick but who gets 2 handed to them played by arguably the best drummer ever?

This is a group that can keep Working Man our of their setlist, that's how much good music they have. I can think of 5 other songs I'd of loved to hear but they weren't played.

We only stop for the b-e-s-t.....

Another leg of the tour in North America is to be announced soon. I might have to really travel this time, but I don't mind at all.
