you forgot the great Conrad Veidt as Major Heinrich Strasser. He was a refugee German actor who had appeared in 1920 "German Expressionist" silent classic The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. He fled the Nazis, but was frequently cast as a Nazi in American films during the war. A major star in German cinema before the Nazi era, he was the highest paid member of the cast despite his second billing
Dooley Wilson was outstanding as Sam. believe or not he was almost written out of the movie

I'm sorry, but all the above actors did something "great", and Mr. Veidt did not.....
OK you want to nit pick about Conrad Veidt fine. I stated "great" because of his work for the German film studio Ufa in the silent days and early 1930's when he was one of their biggest stars. and btw just WHAT is Dooley Wilson remembered for besides playing Sam ???
