not sure what order these fights are taking place, as always nothing concrete until fight night
Goff vs. Smotritsky - Goff is somewhat of a favorite to the "mma community" when it comes to prospects and i get it. He's really strong and well built for 170, still only 24 yo. He even fought at 185 and scored a 2nd round stoppage after likely losing the first. This is Smotritsky's 2nd go in the Contender Series after getting guillotined in 30 seconds vs. Mike Mallot....I was a huge proponent of Mallot in that fight, but not because of Smotritsky. This kid was fighting in Bellator like 2 months after he turned 18...and winning, his only loss to Mallot. I feel like the odds should be closer here, Goff has been impressive, but Smotritsky has fought the more stiffer competition imo. Different styles as Goff likes to come forward and pressure while throwing heavy shots, Smotritsky stays at range and uses kicks and rarely loads up on strikes. Lean - Smotritsky ML +170? I took him last night on Draftkings at +200, but this line has dropped a bit...on some books as low as +140 and still dropping. Goff may very well win this fight, but he has a tendency to get caught and has been knocked down too often for me to trust him. Didn't intend to write this much on this lol
Waldo Cortes Acosta vs. Danilo Suzart - Heavyweight action. WCA is big guy with a great gas tank. Suzart is a stocky fighter who i think has to fight his way inside and try to make this fight ugly, but i think WCA's reach advantage will be of great use here. Lean - Cortes Acosta ML -340 - i'll use him in parlay
Francis Marshall vs. Connor Matthews - tough fight to predict since each guy hasn't faced much competition. There are questions about Matthews gas tank since he seems to come out swinging and end fights in the 1st round, but he lost as an amateur once a fight got into the 2nd. IDK, i don't put much stock into that. Marshall likes to take his time, but i think he gets forced into a scrap. No Lean
Shannon Ross vs. Vinicius Salvador - Could be a fun fight, Salvador likes to showboat a bit and throw strikes but he doesn't have a great gas tank even as a flyweight. Ross is pretty well-rounded and DOES have the ability to fight hard for a full 15 minutes. Lean - Ross ML -240.....if this gets past round 1 then it's Ross's to lose. Salvador is live until then, but i trust Ross's chin.
Charlie Cambell vs. Chris Duncan - I think this is a straight toss-up No Lean and likely won't even play it
Best of Luck to everyone, see you tomorrow night!!!

(+991). Smotritsky line keeps coming down and I took him ML +200 Sunday night. If I make any other plays I¡¯ll post at fight time. I expect these fights to be much better than last weeks
