Just wondering how I would go about getting rooms comped in Vegas? Planning on betting around 5k for March Madness. Is that enough and how do you go about getting them comped if it is enough? Call out to the Hotel before we go out there or talk to the manager at the sportsbook before I start to gamble? Please advise.

Put down $2k on Duke ml vs. whoever they are playing in the first round and there's your free room for the trip!

I know you're looking for something more informative for that - my apologies. I'm not sure if you can get comped for book wagering because you can bet huge amounts on both sides to abuse the system. Maybe VG has more to add...

Comps are given to bettors that are "known" to the casino/hotel. There is no reason why a casino is gonna give you a comp if you have no track record with them....The days of putting money into an "account" and guaranteeing how much you are going to bet are long gone....
So, if you have to ask, I strongly assume that you have no track record.....and...especially with sportsbetting, there are, for the most part, no comps at all....

Agree with VG no comps for sportsbook play anymore maybe 5 to 10 years ago.

You are talking to sports bettors here, not baccarat players.....
The gist of the conversation is that comping in sports betting does not really exist....unless you are a strong multi-dime player...IN which case, you should be able to afford a real drink and not a watered-down drink from the waitress on the floor.

You definitely want to get a players card at whichever hotel you decide to stay.
Have em swipe it each time you place a bet.
Do not get a players card. If you hit big and/ or consistently they will start to keep track of you and eventually not allow any big bets. Remain anonymous broham !!!

That is totally the opposite....the more that they are aware of what you are betting (at the tables...not sports (sports does NOT matter), the more you can get comped.
The new mLife card also allows customers to self-comp themselves based upon their play at all the MGM resorts...
I can personally guarantee...card or no card...if you are a sizable bettor, they know who you are....and, more and more, to be competitive (even in sports betting), the books are taking larger bets now....

Blow a pit boss!
Forget it, it's just not happening any more. Go on priceline and get the best rate you can. Unless of course you know some one.
