What are the betting limits for college basketball totals?

Depends on the sportsbook and your "reputation" also....

Could be a max of 1dime or a helluva lot more....

ON a total with CBB, most books take a dime, some might go to 2-3dimes, depending on their action; I have seen a lot more; but the bettor was known to the book and was not part of a larger betting operation....large bets are taken, in this town, many times as a convenience to the bettor because they want his business at the craps table or baccarat....

The limits are much higher than you can bring.

I havent seen anyone on this thread in the CBB thread, but ignorance is abound with regards to CBB total betting.  ANd Im not talking about just Vegas but buddy I dont look at offshore lines when I pick games I look at the Vegas books only the Hillton is putting up totals and they dont havge them up until an hour before tip.  If you walked in at 830 am yesterday and wanted to bet the total of a night game youd have to wait a few hours.

VG has covered how to place bets over the stated limit. 

MGM does not put up CBB totals for games not on TV. I cant bet O/U's with either my local or on bookmaker which used to have everything and be the first up. 

A picking service cleaned thier clocks on o/us last year and noone will take them.  Very easy thing to be profitable at if you have patience to wait for the right games.  Last year they couldnt drop the number below 115 ever and you were able to clean up on games that were always going to be in the 40s with both teams taking a full 35 a possesion.

Your gonna have to go to the Hilton.

If you have a players card that shows taht you are not profitable and are guaranteed to give back whatever you win they will take almost any bet, obviously over an amount the ticket writers get approval and it may take a few minutes.

I dont respect O/U plays anymore causeyou cant get tehm down.  When I see an idiot posting up a 

under 123 for 3 unites on matchbook

you know its some nicke and dimer betting small amounts.

ITs like you matchbook clowns always get the numbers you want you always get the game at -3 and not 3.5 or 4 and can bet on random first half totals most places can't take.  Anyone who can bet things like this shouldnt be taken seriously.

NOONE TAKES CBB TOTALS ACTION THESE DAYS!

Jelax....Some local sportsbooks will comp a very small amount for sports bets so that they can get the locals to play their slot machines.....It's not enough to even care about....

As I have said in multiple threads....If you just recognize that you will receive nothing but a bottle of beer for your sports bet, pretty much regardless of amount, then you will not be disappointed. Every sportsbook in this town..with one exception..is run as a convenience to their customers who gamble in the casino.

The sportsbooks lost some money on the superbowl..and their casinos took that money from the Packer Backers later at night....It all works out for Vegas.
