Got in 10:30am from philly stayed at imperial had luv tub room comped all nites, room was nothing special but free so went with it,checked in and went to harley cafe for lunch, the bartenders remembered us which was cool. i had 8- 10 miller lite bottles and a dozen wings get my bill he charges for 2 beers and my wings,needless to say he got a nce tip.Head back for black jack and got ass raped to the tune of 400 bucks. We went to the race on sunday which was cool and then gambled some more broke even. Monday put in 2 baseball bets and went 1-1 but won 600 in bj. Went back to harley cafe got fucked up and still got hooked up by the bartender so that was cool.Tuesday put 2 more baseball bets in go 0-2 and then proceed to take another ass rape in bj and poker to the tune of 1000

but drank enough to not care until Wednesday lol. We left on Wednesday. All in all i lost money but had an awesome time

Sounds like a great time. Thanks for the write up. I was supposed to leave today for Vegas (Mountain West tournament) but wife wanted to go to Ft. Myers Beach instead a couple weeks ago. Will go next year but really miss it today so enjoyed the write up.

Jesron - Wow, Fort Myers Beach ? I live in Cape Coral, right next to Fort Myers. Not sure why FMB is becoming so popular. Yesterday the Girls Gone Wild Bus was there at the beach but they got kicked off because they didn't have the right permits.

Thanks for the write up Billoch. I stayed at IP before and it was a good time. I always see that Harley Cafe but, have never been inside. Maybe bikers scare me? LOL.

Cool. I have to tell you I have traveled almost every where in the country and I am not so certain there is a better beach, warmer water, nicer people with a half-way decent cost of living prices as FMB. Honest to God I might consider retiring some down some where in that region. I had a great time. Just really miss not being in Vegas right now.

Nice report Billoch.Always nice to get into Vegas early and catch a nice buzz after the grueling flight..Sorry the BJ table wasn't kind.

I like the IP, usually get comped rooms, poker tables are fun, hottest cocktail waitresses on the strip :) and best location! The sportsbook tho is old fashion with the white boards, lol.... I have my next visit booked for June for a week!!!! This time it's comped at the Flamingo!

I've lived in the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area for 10 years - it's a nice area - it's skewed to an older demographic but there are plenty of younger familys as well.

There's an Indian casino about an hour away from me - has lots of table games, pretty much everything but craps.

Was actually there today.

James - you right in the same area as me - SWFL.

Jelax sweet, I didn't even think about the NBA finals then, now I have something else to bet on besides baseball !!!

WSOP, that's at the Rio, is it worth heading over there to check it out? Or will it be too fricken busy? I always go over there for the Buffet at least once anyways...

also the NHL Awards are on the 22nd at the Palms.... but I'm there from the 7th-15th

Was staying at the Rio in June 08 and it just happened to be the WSOP opening day.It was pretty cool walking around the conference center,got some freebies,bought a couple shirts etc.Worth checking out for sure,Hotel /casino was just Biz as usual.
