Was there last weekend, Jan 30th -Feb 2nd. I stayed at the Bellagio. I have read that it is easy to get drinks there and that was true.... however the sportsbook clerks and managers were COMPLETE assholes and treated me like trash when i asked them simple questions. I asked if they were going to have the Iona game and they quickly snapped 'no' thats an added game, you'll have to go across the street. I gladly did.
The new Aria hotel had a nice looking loungy sportsbook that women may actually like, also had a 60' by 90' high def bigscreen for the biggest games.
Lastly i checked out the off strip M which had a nice sportsbook with some value in some lines on spreads, futures and props. Its not a destination hotel, though it is new and nice, but the sportsbook was great.

Yeah...most of the newer places like Aria...The M...South Point all have nice big HDTV's all around the place. You could not pay me enough to watch a game in a place like Ceasars..Hilton...MGM.

Did you have an open bet at the Bellagio? I have seen them snap at other people that just sit around there sucking up all the air.

I went to the counter to place my bets, was going to bet 3 games including Iona, i asked if they had or were going to have a line on Iona as it wasn't on the big board. The clerk snapped and the within earshot 'manager' i presume came and accosted me that it was an added game and implied with his body lang and tone how dare i ask something so ridiculous. i was put off and didn't bet, though i had bet the night before.
I was actually quite pissed and went back the next day and started asking about limits, buying points, correlated parlays, parlaying props, MMA, etc... asking a lot of whys and making suggestions trying to really piss them off. Fuck them for treating people like shit.
and keep in mind i did make plays 1-5 hundy, and asked a legitimate innocent question before they got shitty, so i wasn't a leech lurker.

lots of assholes that work the sportsbooks like they are all high and mighty and have an arrogance that your just a dumb square in their city. it makes you want to spit in their face, i mean how much are those clowns making, 30,000 tops i would assume and they are stuck behind a counter when all the action is on. f that.
does aria or m offer free drinks at their books? that does help bellagio out a lot, getting drunk for free on top drinks is nice.
