Left Sunday 4/17. Flew Southwest from Pittsburgh. I stayed at NYNY.
All I did the entire trip was play poker and bet sports. I spent most of Sunday and Monday playing cards at Excalibur. The rest of the time was at MGM. I placed 3rd in the morning tourny at MGM and took down 630.00.
I was with a friend and we hit up Spearmint Rhino. Got a dance from a Hungarian stripper. She gave me a number and told me to text her later. She wanted to come to my room for a private dance, but I declined. Ha.
It was my first time out so I kind of just felt my way around Vegas. Poker/Sports winnings paid for all expenses and I came home with about 600 in profit. Pretty sweet trip overall.
I think I'm going with the wife the next time out. I'd like to stay at a bit classier spot a bit further down the strip. NYNY, Excalibur, and MGM seemed a bit isolated from everything else. I can't wait to go back!
Thanks for all the tips on the "first thing I do in Vegas" thread...
