My wife and I go to Las Vegas every July with another couple. In the past we have stayed at numerous casinos but this year my wife is hellbent to stay at the Bellagio where the other couple always stays. I don't mind the place, but what bothers me is I have on more that one occasion heard of the rudeness of the casino staff. We had a bad experience last year with one of the pit bosses who acted like a total asshole, and after reading one of the other threads about how rude the sportsbook staff was, I'm having second thoughts. We have never had a problem with any other areas of the place (pool, restaurants, etc.), but I won't tolerate any bullshit because there are way too many other places to go. Any thoughts or experiences from others that have stayed there? Thanks.

My wife and I go to Las Vegas every July with another couple. In the past we have stayed at numerous casinos but this year my wife is hellbent to stay at the Bellagio where the other couple always stays. We had a bad experience last year with one of the pit bosses who acted like a total asshole, and after reading one of the other threads about how rude the sportsbook staff was, I'm having second thoughts. We have never had a problem with any other areas of the place (pool, restaurants, etc.), but I won't tolerate any bullshit because there are way too many other places to go. Any thoughts or experiences from others that have stayed there? Thanks.
The Bellagio is fantastic. The complainers are the ones that A. request a meaningless game to everyone else to be played on the big screen. B. want to sit around to only drink, make request, but not place wagers. C. be overly loud at the book, cursing, and disrespect everyone around them.
On floor I have seen people sit at reserve BJ tables and the workers had to get a bit pushy because the people failed to move from the reserve table. On another occasion I saw a person taking pictures of a pitboss by standing in front of him and the money area, so the pitboss quickly came over and told them no pictures in that area. It was obvious the people had other intensions because the pitboss approached them after a handful of pictures.

Sportsbook see the other thread. Host was nice. Non gambling staff was nice. Cirque de Soleil show 'O' was fanastic. Shopping in hotel was decent, staff nice for the most part. Its great for couples, etc. as it has a upscale vibe, pianos etc. Very clean.
As for VegasSound, if i was wrong or dont understand the 'rules' and asking for a game not on the board is somehow worthy of being accosted i apologize. All 4 other casinos i had been to that day offered that game, it wasn't like it was delaware state tech city vs. virginia beach a+m tech.... it was a team offered regularly, Iona.... i never asked for this to be on tv, didn't do B, didn't do C....

Listen my friend, do not even think of changing your plans. Been to vegas numerous times and stayed at bellagio, paris, caesars, plane hollywood, and many other places.
nothing compares to the bellagio except the wynn cause its just a newer bellagio cause steve wynn got bored.
I am not doubting that certain people have had bad experience but when you are dealing with millions and millions of people of course bad things can happen.
bellagio is a first class hotel and casino, the sports book has incredible service for drinks as long as you tip every time.
I can't tell you enough times, you need to stay at the bellagio. Trust trust trust me it will be an incredible experience and as vegassound said, if you are just a regular customer without any outrageous demands you will have the time of your life.
ohhhh and venture to ellis island for a $6 filet, green beans, baked potato, and salad...great deal and an awesome place to people watch the reds when you are really fucked up.
