Anyone been on this trip that could recommend which company to use? I have been looking into it and see there are a few different companies that offer these trips. Any input would be appreciated.

I went two years ago. Had a blast. We researched for awhile and found this company Maverick.
They have the best helicopters and flew us over the Hoover Dam, Vegas and Landed in the Grand Canyon for about 40 mins where we had Champagne waiting. This is the high end of the tours, but with high winds I would pay a little more to ensure that your are flying with the best.
Good Luck.

the GF and I did the 40 minute touchdown a few years back. nice trip but a little pricey. Worth doing it once in your life. We also did a 10 mile Guided Kayak trip which starts at the base of Hoover Dam. It ncluded the transportation (PU 6:30am), the Guide and a box lunch. The Guide stopped a few times and had us take very short hikes up canyons to swim in Hot Springs, under small waterfalls, a cave and a old building location. The Canyon walls are nowhere near the hieght of the Grand Canyon but still pretty impressive sitting in a Kayak. Small lizards were everywhere, we also spotted a pretty cool looking snake on one of the Canyon hikes and two separate Big Horn Sheep herds. They got us back to the Hotel around 6:00pm. Highly recommend this trip for about $200.00 per person which includes everything including a $20 spot tip for the Guide. Have fun!! Not sure when your going as the cold or extremely hot temps might cause a problem. I'm heading back with the GF and kids (21 & 23) in late May and plan on taking the trip again.
