I hate to offer this analogy...but it is appropriate to what we are seeing in pro sports..........

Drop 25% of all football, baseball, basketball and hockey teams...make the regular season count for something....reduce the schedule and emphasize more natural team rivalries.....

Going to Vegas this week and will be stopping by for what should be my final time. I only stayed there once. Use to always eat at the buffet when I started going to Vegas in the late 80's. This is one of the few throwback places left in Vegas.

May try to ride the roller coaster if it is open. It would be the first time.

Buy some chips in good condition,and once the place is closed,those chips will be more valuable to collectors.There is a market for obselete chips.Just do an ebay search of casino chips.

I played with Vegas chips back in the 80's that are worth 5 times face easy now,but at the time who knew?

I asked a cabbie the same question and he seemed to think nothing was replacing the Sahara. Will miss the $1 Milller High Life and .50 hotdogs

I'm going to drive down often to the Sahara to check it out before the closure.

Just got my chips from the Shara today, I'm not going down until the 20th at it would have been closed, but i lady i work with got me $20 worth.. Just to add to the collection
