Reno in April....HELP!!! Need Ideas for things to do?

Going to Reno April 22-25!!!!! Any Covers brothers have any good tips on places to eat, drink, gamble, score chicks etc....

CalNeva at the top end of the "strip" has the best sportsbook, loads of degenerates there, great beer pitcher deals and the cheapest greasiest food all in the book. They are the only casino with $3 blackjack tables as well if youre into that.

Harrahs and Silver Legacy are more upmarket and thats where I usually eat.

Not much else to do there, they have a car museum and a AAA baseball team close by.

Most of the women in reno are skanks, its a poor man's vegas but its a great place to have a cheap weekend.

I would reccomend the Peppermill hotel and casino....there is a great Italian joint there and pretty nice steakhouse as well. Both a little pricey but well worth it. Gambling at the Peppermill is good too and their sportsbook isnt too shabby...but their poker room is mediocre at best.

Lake Tahoe is well worth the 30 minute drive as well.

Stay at the Peppermill. The sportsbook here is the best in town by far, no question about it. Do not stay downtown, its dead.

The drink toke policy is the best at the peppermill sportsbook too.

Agreed on the Peppermill great sportsbook individual tvs for sports betting. Prefer it to the Atlantis a little bit but both are similar and you can get good deals and they are a little more upmarket than the downtown ones.

Downtown is cool I like it few good casinos clumped together. Circus Circus is dirt cheap and the rooms are up to par with those at Harrahs or the Legacy I wouldnt hesitate to stay there although you have to walk next door to the Eldorado for a decent book to watch the games in or card room.

Grand Sierra is good a nice place good car room.

For stuff to do Id say drive to Tahoe and take a hike or something if youre bored. Virginia City is great strait out of the wild wild west definitely worth a morning/half day excursion I would definitely recommend checking it out.
