Question: Airport to Hotel Travel

Been to Vegas plenty of times but have always just made the drive from So Cal rather than fly. This time I'm flying (and might do so from here on out) because, quite frankly, the traffic out of Vegas back to So Cal is just getting rediculous. And there always seems to be some accident on the 15-S as I'm heading out. Not fun when you're hungover as all hell to have a 7 hour drive home.

Will be arriving on a Sat morning in Jan. Staying at Planet Hollywood. What's the best way to get there from McCarran? Just grab a cab? I would imagine you wouldn't have to wait any length of time for one, but just want to get some insight.

Just returned from LV, took a shuttle from the airport, $6.50.  Shuttle had 4 people on it, arrived at strip hotel in 15 min.  Purchase ticket from kiosk outside airport, my son arrived later, took a cab same destination $38.  This was at 4:00 PM.

Boston is closer...

Limo?....How much an hour?....minimum rates there....and for PH?>>>>You need an "entrance"?....don't think so....

Go take a cab....morning is easy.....

go to ground zero and catch the RTC take the 108 or 109 and ask the driver to give you a transfer and where to connect for Planet Hollywood. Get there in about 20 minutes  total cost $2.

You probably don`t want to mess with the Bus but it is a better option than most people are aware of.

Save yourself some time and trouble.  Take the taxi.  $20-30 max, including tip.  The queue should be short on a Sat morning.

U DEF can't arrive Vegas and take a Bus.   Cab or Limo, or stay home.

haha, yea, parts of this thread are getting taken a bit too far. No way would I take a bus or some sort of weird, cheap service that drops off a bunch of people. Appreciate the input everyone. Cab it is. My main concern was just if there could potentially be a huge cab line cuz that would be frustrating. Not concerned about the $20 so much!
