If you have experience dealing in another state and a valid gaming license from that state, you might have a shot here at an off-strip casino or in another part of Nevada....would still help to know someone that can get you in.
Without experience, you would need schooling; plus you cannot get a gaming license unless sponsored by an employer...Go online and look at the openings for each company and look at the qualifications.....
If you are relocating, and I assume that you are, you might seriously want to consider looking at another part of the state instead of trying to start in Vegas.

VegasGourmet knows tons more about this than I do but I have heard that getting a dealing gig in Vegas is close to impossible unless you know someone in the industry...BOL

Sportsfan......If you have not worked in a legitimate gaming casino.....reservation, riverboat, whatever....then you will NOT qualifiy as experienced...because you will not have a gaming license. Look into jobs in Primm, Pahrump, even Reno (although that could be as tough as Vegas)....Unless your cousin is a Pit Boss somewhere here, you absolutely cannot, regardless of personality, get a job as a dealer; and even if you have a cousing as a Pit Boss, expect to be "on call"..not even part time...working whenever they call you....
Seriously, find a job dealing somewhere else for a year or two, then consider Vegas/Nevada.
