Thanks guys, it's been a few months since I've been to Vegas, so don't remember the terminology on the cards. That would make complete sense though and explain it.
As for the second part of my question, do you guys know if the odds are different if you don't use those cards at the counter? I could've sworn I heard that somewhere... that you can can 10 TO 1 at the counter by just stating your parlay rather than filling out the card. Or maybe I was just dreaming.

2-items.....13 to 5
3 items.....6 to 1
4 items....10 to 1...to answer your statement...a $10 parlay on a "4-teamer" gets you back $110
5 items....20 to 1
