Anyone on here have anything to say about Paris hotel and casino? I usually stay at NYNY or Mirage but Caesars is offering me a better deal for one of their properties plus there is no added resort fee. Paris seems like I good location on strip, easily accessible to all my favorite places, etc. Just wondering what your experiences were with the place, the rooms, the casino, the pool. What kind of crowd should I expect there in May? Is it an older crowd? I'm 42 so I prefer to chase milf's and cougars over 35, was hoping the mature women would tend to stay here. Any input?

Unless you need to get a lady up to your room at 3am....in a hurry....where you stay shouldn't matter that much where "chasing the skirt" is your game of choice....

But as far as a solid B-level hotel, Paris is as good as any...and better than NY-NY (but not Mirage). Don't expect a sportsbook like Mirage (or Caesars)....but location is one of the best....

BTW: If you are usually an MGM customer, make certain that you change your players card to the new mLife card....exceptional program...expanded self-comping that can be used at all their properties...

Stayed there in late January. Wasn't sure what to expect but the room was comped so I figured I give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised, although I took an upgrade to the red room deluxe (I think that's what they called it) so I don't know what the basic room is like but I'm sure it's fine. Definitly seemed to attract an older crowd.

I've stayed there twice and enjoyed it both times. Room was good and Mon Ami Gabi is a good choice for dinner particularly if you can get outside seating and enjoy people watching. Good for breakfast that way also. Hotel/casino is a great location and has nice easy access to the strip. Sportsbook is nothing to speak of and it is an older crowd.

Thanks guys. Have decent discount offers for Caesars Palace and Flamingo but have read a bunch of bad reviews online about how old the rooms are. Unlike most people who post on here saying they dont care because they are never in the room, etc. I do care because we are in the room enough times over the day and night that we dont want something skanky, especially old showers.

If the Flamingo is an option, the re-done "Go" rooms are awesome and fairly top of the line. Might not be fully comped, but you should be able to get them at a discount (I get many of the same Harrahs comp offers I'm assuming you're getting)

Yeah they offered me Flamingo room for $150 total four four nights. The pool looks awesome. I've been in the casino and think its awful, so are all the restaurants. People online still complain about being stuck in the older rooms. Since I'm going during high season mid-May on a weekend, I worry that I cant get a good room since they dont guarantee anything. Hotel is good location and pool helps out a lot though...

I agree the Sportsbook is nothing to rave about but the breakfast buffet is pretty damn good. Expecially the freshly made crepes with whatever you want inside...

paris sucks... have stayed there 3x and everytime i stay they i walk over 2 ballys and hang out there and play @ there book

For some reason I fell claustrophobic in the Paris, the ceilings feel like they are on top me. Maybe its the paint scheme...kind of creepy

Paris is great place to stay but sorry book. go to Bally's (next door) or cross over to Caesar's you might even see good old Pete Rose betting on the ponies
