Can someone please share some info on the Paris with me.

Poker room?

Sportsbook?

Hangouts?

Horses?

Proximity to other casinos.

All details are greatly appreciated.

Poker room - not sure.

Sportsbook - really bad. Was just there last week because I needed a quick stop in to place a 2nd half bet while I was on my way to Bills. I swear when I went there, I might have been 1 of 2 people inside the book period. Its also very small. Definitly wouldnt recommend. A small book that is pretty nice is right next door at PH. You can pick up free wifi inside, comfy seat, small, basic lines though. Oh and side note, you cant bet on Celtics games at Paris/PH because the CEO of the Celtics is part owner

Hangouts - Alot of different shoppes and "cafes" but nothing worth noting. The shoppes are very Paris related as if you were living in Paris. Unless your a man who likes coffee and baguettes, there are many other hotels have better hangouts.

Horses - not sure

Proximity - Pretty central on the strip. Right across the street is Cosmo that just opened up as well as the city center. PH (one of my faves) right next door. Theres an inside walkway to Bally's. I myself prefer to stay on the North side closer to Venetian/T.I/Mirage/wynncore etc.

Overall - Dont think its worth the price they charge. Better off with another hotel.

Unless you are a "playa" and get comped due to your casino/table games play, you should stay at a hotel that gives you a decent room rate and has the location that you are looking for.

To plan on a specific hotel because of its gambling options doesn't make a lot of sense anymore in this town.....

A "million years ago" I stayed at the Dunes (now where the Bellagio is) because it was $20 a nite and I could walk pretty much anywhere I wanted to find the action that fit my personality and budget.

Now the trams and buses take you anywhere, free or real cheap, and a place like The Paris has a great location for action at all levels...If your "room deal" is good for you, then it makes sense to stay there.....

I stayed at Paris last year and thought it was nice. Is a great location can hit many casinos within a short walk. Stayed in what was called a red room ,was a p room or some letter like that, was a corner room with view of bellagio fountains. Wife really liked room, i myself could of cared less but it was nice. The sportsbook and horses are all in same spot. I liked the book. I play mostly horses and don't want alot of noise when betting. They had about 5 bigscreens with the races on them and had 2 small tvs where you sit down at. You can change the small tv to whatever track or game you want to watch.You get the form which as you know has alot of different tracks, just make sure you bet the right horse. They don't have programs. I don't think any do that i have seen. Kinda thought the food was over priced and not really worth it. Also did not like the blackjack there. That is really about all i play. To me as a horse better i liked it but if you are younger and want all the noise and party type thing it is probably not for you. You can not beat the location though. Hope this was some help.
