Need advice on hotels

I use travelzoo.com.  Also, depending on your airline, some offer discounts/packages that might be a better deal depending on where you're flying from and what airline you take.  Something to look into at least.

I know you mention you're 21 year olds, but it really all depends on what you're trying to do.  If you don't care about the surroundings and are just there to gamble and watch games and drink, then anything mid-strip that's cheap is fine (ballys, harrahs, flamingo, planet hollywood).  If you're out there trying to go to the clubs and are trolling around for tail, then you'll probably want something else.

Check Downtown hotels for cheap,you can take the Cat bus to center strip for a few bucks.

Get players cards at each and every casino you play in and next trip you will have offers or at least casino rates for rooms.

Keep a few chips from every casino for collectors sake.There is a market for old chips.

I think he just meant that prices, in general, are cheaper for July/August stays in LV because of the temperature.  Especially week-day prices.

Chances are you're not going to find too many August "deals", whether through 3rd party websites or the properties themselves, until you're a little closer to August (probably late May, June).

The best 21-25 year old hotel is New York - New York....without a doubt. Also have use of the pool at Monte Carlo...afternoon DJ....

These two are more like Spring Break crowds than any other in Vegas....less intimidating, great price points for food/drink....

Since Mandalay is on the Strip and connected by free tram to mostly everything else on that side of the Strip...and because it does have the best setup for a book, that's where I would stay....

The beach can be great at night....especially if you have a hot concert at the beach....

If you are in the 21 year old range you have to stay at the Hard Rock Cafe.  Hot chicks at the awesome pool all day and good gambling all night.

You will not be on the strip but you can take a cab or shuttle there at night if you want to.  Spend your days at the Hard Rock and nights either there or out and about.

We get free rooms there all the time so if you gamble there make sure you get credit for it.  It will make it cheap to go back.
