Just thought I'd pose the question...I usually go a few weeks into baseball season and just relax for 4-5 days.
Treating a female friend to the trip as well. I'm thinking MGM (Mainly cause it's the sportsbook I enjoy the most), but was curious on others thoughts. She's actually never been, so want her to experience some of the night life...shopping...and pools. I've heard The Mirage, Monte Carlo & Mirage are a few of the better pools?
Help me out...

Look at the new Cosmopolitan.....next to Bellagio and Aria/City Center (which has the best shopping in Vegas)...the only pool overlooking the Strip....great restaurants....absolutely beautiful place....

Vegas - I'm not looking to spend a fortune...want to save my money for the games. Haha. So kinda thinking middle priced...Mirage or Mandalay may be my early leans...I always do the MGM so just wanna try something new. However the shopping at Cosmo/Aria may get the friends attention.

Since your taking a 'lady friend' you will want to stay at Wynn. if you guys are getting one room with one bed you will have no problem getting a good deal on a panaramic room with a strip view there. Wynncore has the best food, shopping and atmosphere on the right side of the strip. Enjoy the dueling pianos each night at the eastside lounge inside encore.

Does the Cosmopolitan charge to use the pool if your a non guest? If so, go that route if you want to check it out, if you can save on a room with the MGM (etc).

Lets take pricing out of the equation for a moment, and just go on best pool's. I'm in no way attached to this female friend...we used to be fuck buddies...and chances are we'll fuck. But, I still want to see some hot chicks in bikini's in the meantime.

I've heard the majority are checking/scanning room keys these days?

Just signed up for the e-mail promotions through the MGM website..but wanting offers from several of their properties (Mirage, Mandalay & MGM) Hoping to open the lines of communication to start getting some good deals going.
My parents stayed at Excalibur for SuperBowl weekend, and barely paid for anything with their card. I used to live in Vegas a few years back and always used my card at MGM. Problem is, I'm more of a sports gambler while there...and play cards after winning sports wagers. They don't often hook-up the Sportsbook players.

Vegas - You got a personal e-mail bud? (PM me if you do) I know you poke your head in every now and again. I have a card from maybe 2-3yrs ago. I'm fairly sure the MLife Card is somewhat newer...thus why I was thinking about contacting these casinos directly. I doubt anything I earned while living there transferred to this new card. So that's a question I had as well.
I will be going with a very good looking 23yr old, who I have no attachment too. So I obviously want to see some T&A, which is my thinking behind finding the better pools. And the hotels I have mentioned are all moderately priced.

The Palms is a very hot scene....gets a lot of music/sports personalities..and the girls follow....however, much less during the week....The "LA Ladies" usually come out here on Friday and leave on Sunday....
Disagree with The M....local women, southern Cal , and some basic losers....The M went down fast with brutally poor management from the Marnell family

Vegas - Thanks for the info, actually didn't know they had a website dedicated strictly to the MLife card. Have sent off an e-mail to their customer service regarding the many questions I had.
I actually have a friend staying with a larger group of her friends staying at The Palms (Something like 18-20 people) at the same time. So will be there to party etc...but don't want to stay off the strip.
