Madness or Super Bowl

I recently booked my room for the first weekend of March Madness. I have done this the past 4 years and always have a great time. I am beginning to have second thoughts and am thinking of going for the Super Bowl instead as I have never been to LV for the SB. Obviously, you have better volume for March Madness, but would anyone recommend doing SB weekend over MM? What is the scene like?

The first weekend of March Madness at Mandalay Bay is like 4 nights of New Year's Eve in Times Square.

The Super Bowl is one game....not always competitive....lots of fun if you are playing 100 prop bets at The Hilton....BUT, not close to the extended excitement...and drinking and partying...of the age group that comes here for March Madness.

chances are also much improved for some of that fantastic weather as opposed to early feb----burrrrrrrrrrrrr,,its march madness for me every time

I think the first two days of the NCAA tourney are the best two days in all of sports......for both watching and betting. Those are guaranteed sick/vacation days every year. Oughtta be a holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!

March Madness without a doubt. Best sportsbook in Vegas is at the Hilton & the Hilton Showroom aka Football Central is the best spot to enjoy all the action.

I have a few other observations on the two. The Superbowl is a complete Sausage fest, and the weather is cold. The weather for March Madness is absolutely gorgeous, pools are open, and best of all, it is College Spring Break. WE had one of the best weekends ever hanging out with seven girls from Austin on spring break.

So to sum it up, March Madness hands down.
