Masterwok: Sucks to see your banned, hopefully you see this message. I just got back from Monte Carlo and here's my review:
1. Don't even bother with the sportsbook. Plain and simple, it sucks. I got a bunch of free drink tickets after betting on the super bowl and cbb but there were hardly ever servers to get you a drink. And unlike other places, you have to be in the sportsbook to use your drink ticket. Waste of time.
2. The buffet overall was good Not great, but good. Did lunch at 13.95 which isn't bad. Some of the food was great (roast beef, philly cheesesteaks, etc.) but some wasn't (pizza, chinese).
3. The rooms were simple. Wasn't expecting much and you shouldn't. Just remember each night you gotta pay $10 in resort fees. All I got with that was bottled water and the USA Today.
4. Don't expect to play poker there late at night. Mon. night it was closed and Sun. night only had 2-3 tables.
5. NYY is right there is a tram that goes through city center to Bellagio. That was really nice and I used it a few times. Make sure to walk through city center atleast once, it's pretty crazy.
6. DON"T GO to BREW PUB!! Food sucked and beers cost $9 a piece. That's right $9. You will pass it on the way to the tram but don't even stop, it's a waste of time.
7. DO go to Diablo's. That place is 10X better.
All in all I'd give the Monte Carlo a 5 out of 10. The book sucked and the service wasn't good but the dealers are cool and it's in a great location. Have fun out there man!

I'll be there next weekend. My first time at the Monte Carlo so I don't know what to expect either, but I can't wait!
