If anyone wants to read...My Vegas Recap...

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 20TH:  Leave Atlanta airport around 11:00 am for an almost 4 hour flight.  Have few shots on plane with buddy of mine and begin to catch a small buzz.  We have another friend flying out later that day to meet us.  We land in Vegas around noon "vegas time".  Just bring carry on, so no need to wait for bags, go straight to cab line, no wait, and head towards the Wynn.  Have 3 nights comped there.  Hardly any wait at check-in; room is view of golf course.  Head back downstairs to play a little BJ.  Now I will say, I am NOT a high roller; I usually buy-in for $200-300 and try to find $10 or $15 table.  My bankroll for this trip is $1000 cash on me, with potential to hit atm for another 1000, but dont really want too, lol. Here, there were several $10 tables on Friday afternoon.  Ended up playing about 2 hours, no memorable hands, and cashed out $150 ahead.  Grabbed some lunch at place by sportsbook, checked out sportsbook for games that night and waited on our friend to arrive.  He came in around 4.  Met up with him and decided on game plan for the night.  He likes play 3 card poker mainly, so he hit those tables while we hit some more BJ.  Alot of thsoe $10 tables turned to $25 now, but still a few $15 to be found.  Also placed bet on Akron +10'. (didnt bet any hoops, just all football).  Played until 7 or 730 and went to watch end of game.  Ended up $200 down, so down $50 so far.  Akron tries onside kick late and its scooped up and run back for td....akron loses 36-20 (would have been 30-20 if that didnt happen...damnit).  Lost $55 there, so i double my bet and take Boise over for night game for $110. My buddy goes back to play some more BJ, other buddy is still at 3 card poker.  I wanted to get out and walk around, so I decide to leave and walk the strip.  I also had 2 nights comped at TI, so I went over there to check in and grab another room...just in case its needed, lol.  Ended up at Casino Royale???? dont ask how...and my dumbass was playing blackjack switch!  Got lucky first few hands and continued to play and drink, and next thing i know its 2am!  Decide to head back to Wynn, but remembered had that room at TI, so just went over there and played little more before I went to bed at 5am.  Buddy calls at 8am to find out if im ok.  So head back over to Wynn...

SATURDAY 21st: for some free breakfast buffet, which despite being really hungover, was very good.  Talked about losses for the night.  I have $600 left in my pocket, one guy blew $1000 at 3 card, and other was down $600.  Then rememebred my Boise over ticket and found out it won, so that put another $210 back in my pocket, so only down $190 overall.  Games start less than 30 min, so went over to WYNN to see about 9am games.  Played UNC +3 and Duke +19 early and actually went back up to room and chilled out to watch the games, i guess lack of sleep and drinking all night will do that to you.  Around 12, head back down to watch end of games and cashed both tickets!  $50 each, so now just down $90 overall.  Begin drinking again, just Mich Ultras right now, place bets on Uconn +6, LSU +5', and NWestern +7.  Watched and drank in sb for the whole game and cashed all 3 tickets!  $50 on 2 and $100 on LSU, so now up $110.  We all 3 hangin in book for now, drinking and having a blast watching the games.  For late games, played vandy +17, KY +9' and my only mistake, took a fav, stanford minus7.  Won the 2 dogs again, $50 each, and lost the stanford for $55, so now up $155 total.   Ended up outside Harrahs at Carnival Court, which was very busy and kinda crazy.    So i was getting in real close with this girl, other buddy of mine comes to sit down and play, tellin him about shes meeting a friend later to go to TAO, asks us if we want to go with them, of course we say yes.  Now, this girl was pretty hot and was thinking this was a "sure thing" tonight, until she gets a call from her "friend" to find out where she is at.  She says "lets walk out up front, HE'S here."  WTF?  Its a guy?  All this time and she never mentioned hes a guy?  Fuck that....we watch her walk out, and yep, sure enough, its a guy she meets up with.  Crushed our spirits.  Hang there long enough to watch them leave, then head back towards Wynn.  Other buddy ended up staying at TI that night.  Played some $25 at Wynn, just enough to drop $200 there, headed back up to pass out, lol

Sunday 22nd:  NFL day!  Wake up around 9am, call other buddy to wake up and come abck over, and count cash.  Only count $750, so blew a little last night seems like, so overall, down $250.  Go eat at buffet again, shits expensive if its not comped (which ours was)..like $30 each.  really good again, not as hungover this mornign, actually remember what i ate today!  Plan out the 10 am games and place bets on Buff-Jac under 20 1H, Pitt minus10, Minn minus 10', New Orl minus 10', Atlanta +7...$50 each...hit em all but Pitt (jac ended at 19, lol)...so up $145 there....continued to sit in sb and watch late games, with bets on ne minus 10-, cincy +9...hit both of those for $50 each, so up $245 now.  Played the night game, chi +3', which found out next day it was a loser, minus $110 there..so up $135 for games that day.  After placing Chi bet around 5, i came up wiht an idea that we determined would be called our "Victory Tour."  This was a running joke we had the rest of the night with all the waittresses and all the dealers.  This was the best night we had.  Started at Wynn, buddy played 3 card while we played BJ.  Bought in for $200, and when oyu got up to more than 50 bucks, or more, cash out...if you got down 75 bucks, you cash out....so we all 3 won at wynn, and walked next door to TI...same thing, cahed in for $200, played, cahed out...Miarge next, same thing....each place, we got at least 2 drinks before we would leave...then walked across the street to "slumville", lol....casino roayle, osheas, bills, flamingo, harrahs, ballys, IP...hit em all.  If the place had party pit, we played there..again, lot of fun and lots of drinking and jokes going on...also kept dollar chip from each place we went to. At flamingo, i did have memorable hand at that party pit, while watching 2 girls dancing up on a stage with theis asses righ tin forn of my face.  Second hand I got, had 3's..dealer had 5.  Had $15 bet.  Split 3's and next card was a 3.  Three hand going...first hand, got 8, doubled got 7..so 18 there...2nd hand got 7, doubled got A, so 21 there...third hand, got another 3, so made 4th hand...on 3rd hand got J and held, on 4th hand, got another 3, and pit boss was standing there, and as i was about to split into a 5th ahnd, he said oyu can only do 4 hands.  I was like WTF???? anyways, ok, so got up to 17 on one and 19 on other.  $30 on 1st hand, $30 on 2nd hand, $15 on other 3 hands..dealer busts and win em all...yeah!! won $105 that hand...played one more and split A's on $25 bet, and won both of those, got my chips and was gone! 

some how the rest got cut off, so here goes...

Head over to Paris...try 3 card poker for first time ever with other buddy of mine....so hes explaining to me rules,etc and first hand i get, i shit oyu not, is all diamonds, a-2-3!!!  He stands up and shouts out "pay that man his $400!!!!"  It was like 40-1 to get straight flush.  So i color that up and cash out and go over to $25 dd bj, but in for $300, play 30 min or so and cash out for $600!  paris was pretty good for me.  This is where it gets interesting.  We decide to eat before we leav Paris, so we walk over to this deli, passing by this bar.  I notice 2 girls at the bar and they kinda looking, so I look back and they still looking, so i tell my friends to go ahead, i'll meet ya'll in minute.  I go talk to the girls and get them to come over and eat with us.  One is latino, very hot and petite, other is a blonds, just little bigger, but pretty good lookin too.  So we're eating, telling stories, having good time, then decide its time to finish our victory tour.  Head over to Monte Carlo next, they go with us, i dropped $100 pretty quic, and go ove rto the bar and they come with me, and we begin talking, and oyu all know whats coming next .... "just to let you know, we're working girls"....ahhhhhh shit, should have seen that one coming!  Dumbass!  They say is that OK?  And my drunk ass says sure.  We got out other friend to take cab back to wynn, and we went over to MGM and then NYNY to finish or leg of the tour, lol.  Tried to ge t into Coyote Ugly, but it was closing down, close to 3am now, so we sat outside the bar there and i told my friend what they told me, so he took blonds gorl off to side and was talking to her.  I told latino i was broke and wasnt paying for shit.  They finally came back over and me and him talked....they want $300 each, but if we offer $300, maybe they'll bite????  Well, we did, and they said they had a blast tonight, so sure, theat would be ok....we were like damn, ok....cab back to TI....stayed up all night, no sleep.....fun, fun times....they leave at 8am, we head back to wynn, grab other buudy, eat at buffet...count $$$...wow, I have little over $1400 in my pocket....victory tour was good !!!!!  check out and head back to airport for long fligh home

all in all...great trip and cant wait to get back out there.....vegas, baby vegas

To answer a couple questions, I do go to Gold Strike in Tunica several times a year and also to Beau Rivage in Biloxi couple times a year also.  Like I said before, not a big time player, but when I buy-in, I try to do at least $200-300, but sometimes I will do $500.  I play for alot of hours, tip dealers, talk with pit bosses, etc...I think it goes along way in helping your comps, but thats just me. 

I havent been to Vegas since 2003, and last year I received an offer in mail from the Wynn, about coming out for three nights and they would comp the room.  So last Sept, (2008), we went out there and stayed.  Then this past August, had a guy call from the Wynn, offering 3 nights comped again, but had to use before December 2009.

So honestly, not really sure how, but i'll take it if they give it to me!!  But I do know a guy really well who was married to my cousin for like 15 years back in 80's and early to mid 90's, and they worked at casinos in Vegas and Tunica and now he currently works at Hard Rock in Biloxi.  He's told me before if you play for long time, buy in for pretty decent amount, and TIP dealer, he'll rate players higher.  Thats just what he says.  So I always do that, not if losing of course, but if i've been there 2-3 hours, i've prob tipped them $30 or so...dollar here, dollar there...

TI was same thing; just got offer in the mail from them.  I guess you get on some mailing list somehow, I dont really know..hope that helps...
