how long is a winning ticket valid after its done.

i bet on the super bowl and won , but left before the game was finished, it was a straight wager , how long do i have to retirn to caesars and cash my ticket before it is void? thanks

i think it three months you have all the information at the back of your ticket.

Just mail it in and they will send you a check for the money owed to you.

I think its somewhat of a unwritten rule that they will honor that wager for a very extended period of time. Last year the stratosphere pulled some funny business and got ripped up for it.

make sure when you send it in to specify that they take some $ out of it to tip the guy behind the counter that took the bet

The ticket will say how long you have printed on it. Most casinos are very good at honoring tickets past their deadlines (generally 60-120 days). Surprisingly.

You can also cash it by registered mail.

i had a bet in a book in reno, found it in a pocket 6 months later, found out it was a winner, went back to same reno book a few months later and cashed it, girl there said tickets are valid for 12 months.

I would never mail it in.

my tix here from the Red Rock say 30 days for race/pari mutuel 120 days for sports

I would never mail it in.

I used to mail em in when I lived in NJ, registered mail and then Id also make a copy of my ticket

u get a check a couple of weeks later

They are, legally, allowed to keep a ticket valid for 120 days; however, most books will do what they can to cash it for you if you held it longer.

Advice: Always make a xerox copy of the ticket for yourself, the number above the barcode allows their auditing dept to track a ticket in case of loss.
